I've added my vow picture to my post

Should be able to get their base sand on and primed this week so I can get to work on the base coats :smile.: Hoping the bronze colour I use hasn't dried out... :laugh.:

Well I’m halfway there, I have finished 4 Deathriders including the Ridemaster, thought I’d let you know of my progress!

Good luck with your vows!

Don’t often see Valhallans. Can’t wait to see your paint scheme!

I am going old school.

Mainly Dark sand for the coats + Heavy green for the pants (instead of Uniform green, that is shown in the picture).

Quick Update.  I've got the base colors down and washed on my test model.  Next up is a little layering and highlights.  With some paint down you can really see the character shine on these sculpts!

Some nice things going around in this thread :)

I have worked on finishing painting my pledge for the current challenge and today I did the last steps on the 25 soldiers.

I was mostly interested in the modelling aspect when I built these, so you can see characterful soldiers, like the medic who uses a power fist as the anaesthetics and other interesting concepts which might not be codex approved but look nice regardless.
The pictures could be better, but I am very happy with the end result of the painted miniatures, as I have come a long from when I started :)

Test model complete (sans base, basing material order has yet to arrive).  Pretty happy overall.

Not 100% sure on the shield.  I wanted to keep it simple so I painted it the same color scheme as my tanks.  I did a mock up with some metallic mixed in but it was too busy.  Maybe I need to add some battle damage.  https://photos.app.goo.gl/14RrEr2czw6A4ZiUA

 baz coming along nicely!

I need to get cracking on mine (starting with straightening his sword :ermm: )

I should be able to update the participant list tonight too. Especially since we're already seeing completions :tu:

Great to see some completions coming through! Nice work GS and StD :tu:

Finally got around to updating the participant list, let me know if I've missed anyone.

Nearing the half way mark, hopefully see a few more completions rolling in! The WIP's are great

Casb, definitely need to some WIP's from you and your mega pledge :lol:yes:

I haven't had as much time to work on this as I would like, but I finally got around to actually painting up the crew for the mortar section.

next step is to start on the mortars themselves.

Looking good. :tu:

First WIP updatye for the 7th Kellersburg Irregulars.

I've got the base coat and start of the camo on to the tanks, which appear to have doubled in quantity from my original plan. Just the fine details and crew to do.
