I think that makes the thread a pain to read, and it is already quite picture heavy to begin with. Feel free to bear the word, but I would appreciate if people would avoid quoting images unless there is a strong reason. As for the Erebus figure, he certainly looks like he is bearing the word: tattooed on his skin, engraved in his armour, written in his book and in the scrolls hanging from his armour. The tactical sergeant on the other hand has just a tiny bit of script on his knee. How did he make it to sergeant in the first place with such lazy attitude to the sacred messages? As for Word Bearers at large, all that they wanted to do was to engage in a little bit of good old fashioned worship. Is that too much to ask for such dedicated and throrough legion? After the Emperor denied them, they were left with just one alternative. His cloak on the other hand seems to be made of some denser material, that is less affected by winds - perhaps also making it more durable for battlefield use.
