'Zagreus Kane' goes Traitor. Changeling and Horus story.

Shortly before the Schism Maloghrust summons the Changeling. The Daemon promises to help Horus in his own way. Sneaking into Mars the Daemon commits a vile act that would alter the course of the Heresy.

 

Dark Compliance of Mars:

 

-Zagreus Kane is killed and his identity taken by the Changeling. Disguised as the second-most powerful person in Mars, the Daemon ensures Horus wins the Heresy. He approaches Koriel Zeth and kills him, causing most of Zeth's forces to submit to 'Kane' and follow the Dark Mechanicum into Heresy

 

-Not only is all of Kane and most of Zeth's forces fighting for Hal's Dark Mechanicum but other forces see the writing on the wall and defect as well. All of Knight House Taranis, the entireity of Titan Legio Honorum plus other Knights and Titans from other Loyal groups suddenly turn on their brethern, opening fire and spilling blood.

 

-Imperial Fists and Imperial Army forces arrived too late and were suprised and slaughtered. Sigismund and Camba Diaz killed. The dead Marines' geneseed are harvested to make Heretical Astartes for Kelbor-Hal's Army.

 

-As a result of Kane and others defecting to the Dark Mechanicum on Mars other Forgeworlds whom would have stayed Loyal to the Emperor also went Heretical or devolved into Civil War.

 

-Futhermore, there was great disunity and mistrust amongst the Forgeworlds still Loyal and towards Imperial forces and vice-versa

 

 

Betrayal at Paramar V:

 

-Mechanicus forces on the planet swear loyalty to Horus and fired on the still-loyal Iron Warriors garisson, slaughtering them in a surprise attack

 

-Enraged by the betrayal, a Legio Gryphonne force with Imperial Army elements arrives and battles their traitorous brethern. Reinforcements from the Dark Mechanicum arrive and repulse the attack.

Manachean War:

 

-Forgeworld Mezoa devolves into infighting between Loyalist and Traitors allowing Dark Mechanicum forces to safely land and take control of the planet

 

-Fortress Stranivar taken with much fewer losses

 

 

Maedran Slaughterhouse:

 

-Legio Destructor defects to the Traitors resulting in much greater Titan loses for Metalica and Gryphonicus

 

 

Thramas Dark Crusade:

 

-A Dark Mechanicum fleet led by 'Kane' counterambushes Lion and the Dark Angels as they launch a surprised Warpjump attack on Konrad and his Night Lords. 4/5th ofte Loyalist Legion destroyed.

 

-Lion and his Elite Terminators teleported into 'Zagreus'' ship only to find out 'Kane' is the Changeling. Though banished Lion is wounded and Konrad teleports in. Konrad is severely wounded and rendered unconscious but he kills Lion.

 

-Some of the Night Lords plus Legio Ulricon joins Horus in his attack on Beta-Garmon

 

-More Night Lords and much more Dark Mechanicum forces raid Ultramar

 

 

Slaughter at Trisolian:

 

-Knight House Taranis and the Kaban Machine slaughter many Wolves and kill Russ. Entire Space Wolves Legion killed to the last marine, only those that did not participate live on

 

 

Culling at Beta-Garmon:

 

-With the absence of Sanginius, Blood Angels plus much fewer Mechanicus and Imperial Army units as well as the Night Lords and more Dark Mechanicum units the Loyalists are quickly exterminated at Beta-Garmon

 

-Khan is killed going up against Legio Ulricon, killing Five Traitor Emperor Titans

 

 

Siege of Terra:

 

-Traitor Imperial Navy and Dark Mechanicum Ships easily crush and penetrate the Sol System's fleets and defenses. Horus kills Dorn and drops the Phalanx onto the Imperial Palace, greatly damaging its fortifications and wiping out the vast majority of defenders

 

-Leading the Lost and Damned, Warmaster Horus takes the Lion Gate Spaceport. With the help of Mortarion and the Death Guard they take Saturnine Spaceport the same day. Daemons take Mercury Wall that night.

 

-World Eaters butcher Bhab Bastion. Iron Warriors attack through Mercury Wall and get close to Eternity Gate. Emperor's Children first Traitor Legion to attack Eternity Gate, repulsed but inflict heavy casualties on the Custodes, Titans and Silent Sisters. Dark Mechanicum breach Eternity Gate while Magnus and the Thousand Sons perma-kill Vulkan before leaving, well Magnus is banished

 

-Horus, Fulgrim, Angron and Konrad fight the Emperor. Konrad is killed by the Emperor whom in turn is butchered by the other Three. Horus ascends to a Minor Chaos God.

 

The Multiversal Dark Compliance:

 

-The Luprecal's Host invades and conquers other Multiverses. Star Wars Legends, Transformers, Halo, Mass Effect and many more fall under the Warmaster's banner

 

-Abaddon, Sevatar, Ingo Pech plus many more Captains become empowered by Chaos as its Chosen

Coming of Chaos:

 

-Newly appointed and Chaos-blessed Warmaster Abaddon invades Warhammer Fantasy with his Companies of Sons of Horus, all greatly-enhanced by Necron/Dark Mechanicum/Eldar Tech and Massive Chaos Blessings

 

-Kroak, Caledor Dragontamer, Aenarion and others easily and horrifically butchered by Abaddon's Elite Astartes

 

-Abaddon devours the Fantasy 'gods' growing even stronger

 

 

 

Another Universe:

 

-Ahriman and his Warband end up in a Parallel 40k Universe. This other version is still in the past, the War in Heaven had just begun with Chaos Daemons invading.

 

-This version of Be'lakor becomes Ahriman's apprentice. Greatly empoweres by the Warp, they kill Trillions of Necrontyr, Eldar and Old Ones

 

-This Universe falls to Chaos. Mostly owned by Tzeentch
