This is my 2k list that I've been working on whilst rebuilding/primaris sizing my old 5th edition wolves.

General Tactics

 

Plasma Hunters and VLD hold backfield.

3 Dreads advance on one flank

The 2 Melta Hunters and WGBL advance on the other.

WGTDA come in with the lord & Librarian Turn 2

 

 

Some general thoughts & post dataslate fun..

 

I've not actually changed much of my list, as I'd already prebuilt a lot of the army anyway around some old post-heresy fluff, and the theme was already very focused on killing other space marines (A lot of power weapons etc). Mainly I saved a few points by removing storm shields that seem way less necessary now, i managed to move some things about and get another WGTDA in, as they seem really good now both defensively and for dealing with other armour of contempt units.

 

The librarian can improve the durability of the terminators whilst also getting them into assault doctrine the turn they arrive with instincts awoken (as bestial nature has to be used in the command phase). The combination of meltas (with keen senses bolters if needed), followed by reroll charging (wolfen stone) claws and chainfists should be pretty nasty.

 

I'm not sure if the chief librarian upgrade is worth it, but I like the flexibility and the extra deny could be nice to protect the TDA further too.

 

Between the Lord, librarian, WGBL and  there's a fair amount of fight last abilities too.

 

All the grey hunter units have power weapons to deal with other power armour, they were already built like this anyway but I think we'll see more power weapons in lists going forwards for this reason. Bestial Nature lets me get extra AP early game on one of the hunter units too if they look like they can make a T2 charge.

 

The dreadnoughts are now tougher too, I'm not 100% sure that the wulfen dread wont get an FAQ further down the line to include it in the storm shield exclusion, but the 4++ on them is still great even if that happens.

 

The vindicator laser Destroyer is an old conversion I like to bring, its got a slight boost with armour of contempt (so now effectively T8 2+ against any AP which is nice). Its still pretty pricey but with three dreadnoughts also running up the field (as well as 3 razorbacks now with better saves), it can provide some harder choices for what to take down first.
