The rules of the Bolter & Chainsword are clear about members only be allowed a single account. Members caught with multiple accounts are subject to disciplinary action and the removal of the later accounts.

In spite of the above, some members have created multiple accounts over the years. Sometimes this is because they no longer have access to an old email address or there has been a gap in time between using the old account and resuming activity at the site. Sometimes it' because members are seeking fresh starts under new identities. Sometimes it's sockpuppetry. Regardless of the reason, we need to consolidate as many of a member's multiple accounts as possible, preferably all of them.

During this period there will be no negative consequences for the multiple accounts. We simply want to merge all of a member's multiple accounts into a single account.

This isn't an opportunity to falsely merge other members' accounts with your own. Members will need to submit some proof that all of the accounts are their own. This can usually be done by providing the email addresses.

What you need to do (only if you have multiple accounts): Send me an email identifying all of your accounts and their email addresses. I'll confirm those email addresses and will merge the accounts.

If you need an incentive, consider the ranks and achievements. Having multiple accounts dilutes your achievements, resulting in fewer/lower achievements and rank than if you participated solely under the one account that you are allowed.

Note that this amnesty period is temporary and only applies to accounts created before today.
