This is where I have got to. I am not sure if I will paint it as I can’t yet decide on a scheme. Also, I can’t find the reel of copper wire that I was going to use for cables across the back.

In other news, I've been rather down and also somewhat busy lately, as I suddenly needed to do a bunch of house repairs. So I've only gotten to the point where I've hauled all my vehicle bits and bobs out and looked at them dejectedly.
So, if there's still interest in extending the deadline, I suggest that we do that and then I'll be sure to get something done :)

I've nearly finished building something, but wouldn't have an opportunity to paint it and meet the deadline, so I'd be interested in extending it.

Alright, I've gone ahead and extended the deadline a month. This way we should all have plenty of time and anyone finishing early can always do another pledge :)

Sorry I haven't exactly been a wellspring of inspiration - hopefully things will pick up on my end after the weekend!

Gratitude. 

I'll post an update later with where I've got to over the past month - converting a 1/35 scale LVTP-5 into a land fortress that can count as a Cargo-8 plus trailer (similar dimensions).

You can't have an Ash Wastes Landship without a Boarding Ramp.......

So, I have got as far as I am likely to with the first buggy (which I think will either be Orlock, Cawdor or a more conventional Outcast gang)

…but my head is buzzing with my other project, and I want to share the first bits of progress on The Kataphalque (large vehicle/rig) which is a big passion project for me right now!

Here she is, or at least where I am at so far:

The wheels are resin buggy wheels, they are from Spellcrow miniatures. They cost about £3 for 4 of them. I also have some Kromlech ones I am likely to use for the Sirrush.

Hmm, not a lot of activity in here lately, alas.

 

Here are some pics of the Sirrush, my other WIP custom vehicle. Quite happy with how this has come together, too. 
 

My techno-barbarians will have rides for the nuclear winter…!

Sadly, real life has got in the way of completing this but here's where I'm at on the final day.

 

 

 

You can't have a Landship without some form of rigging...

 

 

...or an anchor to act as an emergency brake...

 

 

I've still a fair bit of work to do like add a Grenade Launcher to each side...I mean a Landship has to be capable of delivering a Broadside doesn't it?

 

I want to add more weathering to the Zephyr's hull...

 

...but the main additions will be the crew, like a lookout in the crow's nest with a telescope...

 

...And a gunner for the Harpoon Launcher...

 

 

...And there'll have to be a Helmsman...or Helmswoman, I haven't made my made up yet.

 

I'm having a lot of fun working on this and I'll be sure to show off the crew built and the Outcast gang once I have them built and painted.

I regrettably didn't get anything done, even with a month more to do it. But things didn't work out too well creatively and all of a sudden I "had" to get a new job, which I did - so that's something, I suppose.

I hope you had fun and I'm sorry  I didn't manage to be the active participant/source of inspiration I had originally envisioned.
