Is Bardas currently Pinocchioed, or can I act normally (though still blind, so won’t be much).

Hmm. Has his nose grown?

Yes, since Nicios 'dispelled', Bards is fine to act normally, albeit blindly, in his devotion to the Opus.

Am I right in understanding that we need to access both terminals at the same time to bring the last shield down? And these terminals are Tech-Use, not flat Int?

If Bardas is now working on one, who is our next best Tech-User to go work on the other one?

(Reynard is rubbish at that, doesn't have it trained, although as a Hiver he can attempt it at half stat, but he's still pretty bad!)

Is there anything else Reynard (and other fighters) can be doing? Having now read Nicios' revealed Psynisience bit, could we attack the statues that are now unshielded? If they are vanes drawing warp power, will it weaken the Golem if we wreck them?

Or are they too close/connected to the terminals where Bardas and (whoever) are working?

Kerr Restal - INT 33 +0 (Tech Use).

Perhaps a bit of verbal dialogue might snag his attention...

Yes.

You could hold onto your arse. :pirate:

Unfortunately, it's that time of the campaign where your character is powerless. It's down to the Techies. Similarly, Scourge is in the same boat, waiting. Imagine the scene: You've got two guys with only two pairs of snips trying desperately to disarm a huge bomb on a boatful of people, and your guns, wits, silver tongue, and pockets full of lint are useless. What goes through your mind? How much sweat makes it down your butt-crease?

Maybe explore this.

Yes....but...

Yes it will, but....

Jedi Council: Is Yoda in Star Wars: The Last Jedi? | Collider

Star Wars this isn't, hmm? Blow things up you want, weaken Golem it will, hmm, yes. But consequences there are; Destroying the statues incurs 50% + Attack DoS percent of blowing the terminal, it does.

Fry Bardas like a chicken it might, hmm yes.

Also, Restal's going to need a Run Action to get to the terminal. You're cutting it fine, lads, and make no mistake - big boy trousers time. If you fluff it, this hive is going to melt with you in it, and as @A.T. asked a while back, nope, Fate warranties don't cover it.

Fair enough. I guess, with regard to Actions, Reynard will do a Full Aim at the Golem this Round.

Just noticed, if Restal is too far back, Falk and Nicios also both have Tech-Use (and both with higher Int than Restal too).

Could both of them work on the second terminal for an Assist?

Currently waiting on a scrutiny result against Restal to make sure he hasn't lost his marbles before Falk acts though :p

Both together seems like the best bet but Nicios is the more skilled and better protected against counter-attack.

The post was a play on words. Clear his head and regain his memory. I finally rolled a success on his Un-Jam. Muninn is Memory.

So instead of a simple Spoiler I waxed lyrical...

Yes an Assist is possible, but the Tests are Opposed, so bear that in mind gents.

I always appreciate it when the keen-eyed land the punchline.

If Falk was aiding Nicios (and therefore able to add fate) - would we each need to add one fate point to beat the Golem, or just one of us ?

Really the DoS must come from the one making the test, but the Emperor cares not from whence the Fate flows, only that it does...(so no, you can pool it, but be wary, the game isn't over yet...).

Probably best from Falk then as he doesn't need to make any Perils of the Warp rolls ...
