Oh, ok, that's not quite so bad then.

The thought just came to me - can we hear again yet? Wondering if we can get any microbead signal in and out of the Bunker? Call for help, or at least warn of a moral threat at the Cradle...

Edit: speaking of his electoo, at this point, Reynard is wondering why he didn't just let Vigilance lock him up for tax evasion...

See, challenging play, not suicidal.

Spoiler

That's Act II.

Yes, as of Round 3, you will hear again - but with a little ringing.

So Bardas wants to slag the data core and the armour, melt it down in a furncae or take a melta gun to it, just ot be on the safe side.

However as a player I am aware that there may yet be info/plot in there and Falk was trying to  warn Bardas, as well as Locke and the mention of DarkMech.

Tro, that's doable. Narrative time applies.

If you want to write a post about doing that, you certainly can. If you can end it with Locke and Scourge entering the room, that would be even better.

Do what your character would do, and don't fret as a Player.

I am the GM, and I have myriad ways of imparting plot.

I'm hoping if we can get a signal out that maybe we won't have to? If we can connect with the team or Arbites channels, we can call for help. Seems like Locke knows about Pirentus and the Cradle already, so he'll know what needs to be done?

And to be fair, probably the majority of the people upstairs aren't fully fledged cultists/mutants? (though depending on what kind of Inquisitor Locke is, he might burn them all just to be on the safe side...)

Speaking of fire in the disco, (must resist posting Electric 6 video...resist) a fair bit of it is alight. Since you are suffering from some kind of Night Fever, I was wondering if I could interrupt this Murder on the Dance Floor, but since I am the Dance Commander, I thought I should consult the players with the following - do you want me to:

  • Use the Soporific Musk as a dampener, and therefore extinguish the fires, or;
  • Keep the Home Fires Burning.

The first will mean all fires only last one Round, the second means your foes will keep roasting, but the wi-fi-less bank vault is going to turn into an oven.

EDIT: Round One for Falk/A.T and Nicios/Lord Ikka, is now ready.

Hmm. What is actually burning at this point at the end of Round 2? Were the Cultist and Hostess successful in their attempts to stop, drop and roll? Do they take Damage and LoF at the end of R2 or the start of R3?

Also, I assume the highlighted bit is telling me that we aren't warning anyone just yet?

Fixed.

Correct.

The Hostess and the other guy are trying to put the fire out, but there is a Test IIRC.

The Depths:

That's fine AT, just plot me where you want to end up, and we'll go from there. Use the marked enemies as reference so my tired brain can get it right. :p

What is the scale of the map? (per grid square?)

Assuming 2m per square Falk would be able to get about as far as the junction of Sub 13

18 minutes ago, Mazer Rackham said:

Apologies, yes, 2x2 m Square.

I'll adjust you when the map renews for the next Round.

This could get messy quickly, with Nicios having no close combat ability and possibly no actions before being in melee, and Falk having no skill with pistols and no non-primative weapons except pistols.

Lets hope the meatshields bodyguards are up for a fight :p

@Machine God If you target Cultist 4, I can SAB (including move) at Cultist 2. Hopefully with Point Blank and between SAB and Scatter I can get enough to pass a few shots 2m onto the Hostess (who has disappeared from the Map but I'm assuming is still in the same place?)

Edit: never mind, just seen you added your target, no worries

Alright, barring hideous rolling, combat is beginning to wrap up in the Cradle. I've been concentrating on it because it's complicated, so apologise the Depths combat has been delayed.

I'll prep that shortly.

@Trokair I have been gone from this game for 4 months, so I would feel a bit silly having Scourge don the armor your character has been laboring to reconstruct. On the other hand Scourge might fight like a Death Company dreadnought if he puts it on, dice rolls permitting, so there's that. I am happy to defer to you in this matter, narrative notwithstanding.

Had to say it, didn't you...?

Edit: I kid, of course. It's been an entertaining fight and the musk is a very clever way to add tension and risk. I will, however, be glad when we can get out of there and Reynard can seek medical attention...

...can we go straight on to R3?

Well apparently there is a Fire in the Discotheque and High Voltage.

The Electric Boogaloo shifts the killer Restal rocking.

With the main prize accounted for, all the other kills are Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap.

I know, but there wasn't a face for "I'm laughing my arse off, but have to pretend to be solemn."

Go on, take it, narrativley Scourge has more of a conection to Valkyrie then Bardas, and I supect you will be able to make better use of it than I. Pluss you get to keep your distinct helmet as the power armour us without.

I was debating whether Reynard's action was excessive or overly dangerous... but to be fair he's shot, stabbed and sleepy so might not be making the best choices...
