Assuming we are able to claim the bounty, it can go 2k to Restal, and 1.5k each to Reynard and Una - Reynard has a definite soft spot for the common Hivers and for kids especially.

Then, if possible, Reynard would like to use some of this cash to find a 'gentleman's outfitter' of some description.  His coat has been slashed, bulletholed and bled on and I'd like to arrange a repair/upgrade of the lining (to a Mesh Cloak, for an extra point of AV but quite a bit lighter!) before we get into any more fights?

Yes I agree.

Mazer I like the kid interaction.

Unfortunately Restal isn't a people person like Reynard.

I was looking at Mesh too.

@Mazer Rackham - So what booty did I find on Tarkan Pirentus' and his coat?

You'd need to make an Evaluate Test. You can still do that at Half Stat (Perception) if you don't have it, although I'd do it out of the way of anyone with a badge.

You can split it how you want it.

You can do this narratively, just drop a post in with you pulling over somewhere useful. As long as the post ends with you drawing up to the Halls of Judgement, feel free.

That's why I did it. Leveraging a bit of awkwardness on your character.

Go on, take it, narrativley Scourge has more of a conection to Valkyrie then Bardas, and I supect you will be able to make better use of it than I. Pluss you get to keep your distinct helmet as the power armour us without.

You are a gentleman and a scholar, sir. However, I'm not certain how Scourge, your friend and mine, will fit into power armor that was purpose built to contain, ahem, feminine anatomy.

Its not an enclosed suite, all the parts have been taken and jury rigged, the plates will have been stretched and formed into a more generic form, think Iron Man in the cave making his first suite, but not as good.

What did you do with the front of the armour?

The bit that has an actual name, that is a bit more stylised in SoB?

Necro will have to find a corset, something in a pleasant colour, with bows.

As discussed with Tro, it's the servo-musculature and fibre bundles of the armour that's the important part, the armour placed on top of that is a rivetted composite cuirass/breastplate, a facsimile of a true plastron, hence Light PA, and doesn't have the same augmentations, bar the Strength boost and a few bells and whistles.

If Bardas was wearing it, he would literally just bolt it to himself, since he has implants and mechanical limbs.

With Scourge, we're going to need to fit a neuromechanical socket, so he can wear it...

Ready to go under the knife, Necro?

Added Evaluate success to my narrative.

Question: Reynard is on 07/17 Wounds, Heavily Injured. So any First Aid Medicae test will only restore 1 Wound, right? Is it worth spending my last FP to try and put enough Wounds back on beforehand so that the test will add +(Int Bonus) rather than +1?

Extremely ready. I love to play dice with the short-term survival of my characters for a chance of improved killiness.

I would.

Just expanding on Evaluate - it's what you think it's worth, rather than what it's actually worth, so any DoS or DoF get put into the sliding scale, and the narrative is then spun to cover the mechanic.

If that makes any sense.

Excellent!

"Igor - fetch me the Brian!"

"Don't you mean, 'Brain', my lord?"

"I know what I mean, fool!"

@Necronaut If you can write up some narrative about bringing your idea to Haldane, and then a surgical procedure (there will be one of the Verispex morticians, he can do you a twofer if you die). When the surgery begins, we will have an extended (3) Challenging (+0) Toughness tests across the narrative.

How does that sound?

I'll try to type something up this afternoon.

Mazer, if I suddenly drop out of contact apologies in advance, my computer turned out not to be as fixed as I thought after the issues a few weeks back and I now have a half dead machine. So may not have a machine at all while it gets fixed for a while.

Bardas will of course help if needed, with either/both Medicae and/or Tech-Use as requiered.

Our intrepid crusader-knight survives to fight another day, if only by the skin of his teeth! I'll gladly take an 18% wound and 7% toughness reduction in exchange for power armor use. (famous last words). Let's go smite some blasphemers!

Has Scourge earned any XP while out of the game? I'd guess he's probably a good 700/800 behind the rest of the PCs?

Maybe if he could use some to undo some of that damage...?

Edit: or did gaining the PA Talent use up whatever he might have had?
