As before, I don't think any of us have any of the required Forbidden Lore subsets to even try, so will have to wait for Nicios to Sense it?

Falk has Arbites as common rather than forbidden lore, but no actual forbidden lores (and takes -5 on those he picks up due to his background).

If common lore(arbites) is suitable I can roll that though.

I thought that was the case when I wrote it up. I don't have your sheets open all the time and I want to make the PBP interaction as smooth as possible with the time I have, and let the players take some of the burden of checking off me. Plus it keeps Nicios involved, because you're all passengers at the moment, so finding something to push at everyone is a...challenge.

You'll pull into the Precinct Hanger before long anyway.

Tough decisions coming up.

@A.T. am afraid not. It's an Inquisitorial Seal, if Falk was familiar with it, it would be a surprise. I think as Players you all know where it's going, though.

Definitely going that way...

I thought Locke had declared a total embargo on anything coming to or leaving the surface, though? Just in case the Golem managed to stow away? Is that no longer in effect, as Solomon (and friends) came in and Locke and Restal have left? Or is it just one rule for him and one for everyone else?

You're just highlighting the differences between Scourge and Reynard again...

I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit, it's the only way to be sure.

Locke's working on it.

If that's not rhetorical , we have a Naval Containment Blockade, and Martial Law. All non-authorised traffic will be shot to pieces, any any unauthorised personnel shot to pieces or detained as spies, then shot (to pieces).

Official business is allowed as long as it serves the blockade or imposition of law, so more troops to quell a riot, an officer acting on official duty with appropriate papers, for example. In appearance to Reynard, yes it's 'one rule for thee, but none for me', and you should feel free to narratively leverage that, but in the scale of things, it's a Falk-approved (and narratively encouraged) 'Exitus Acta Probat'.

Ignorance is bliss...

But so is Heresy.

Pick! (Levels bolt pistol with tears in his eyes).

Sigh... it always seems mad to me that you can't choose to Oppose a Deceive roll with the Deceive Skill... like if you're good at lying you're usually pretty good at spotting them too?

Ho hum, down to Falk on this one!

Yeah but then it turns into:

"You're lying!"

"No, YOU'RE lying!"

"Nuh-uh! I'm LYING BETTER THAN YOU!"

"Pff, you're not a liar, I'M the liar!"

"Ha! Gotcha!"

Besides, this ain't a Test against lying, my lad.

This is for Sleight of Hand....

Just a note - anyone bar Cutter can make an attempt. Just need a narrative added to justify it.

Mazer, two questions.

I know Bardas was behind the others time wise, is he now caught up (i.e. concurrent with the team in Valkyrie 212) or is he still behind but less so? Just trying to place his temporal distance, and I am not sure how long the ride with the Brotherhood has been and how long the flight of the cutter to and from the wreck and hive respectively  works out.

Has the lance strike against the wreck happened? Cephas not answering Bardas question could have been for a number of reasons, so just checking.

Ok, bit of a slip up there, I forgot you'd asked Cephas a question, my reply was going to be static: radiation and atmospheric conditions prevent response, so go with that as you will.

Time-wise things are quite fluid for you, so we will assume about four hours by the time you get into the Kush. That should put you behind the party, who I think are on about six-plus hours by the time they get back to the Halls of Judgement, so we've got a couple of hours to kill before you rejoin.

Any help?

I don't think we have much in the way of fancy anti-toxins or similar, but if anyone has any thoughts we can always poke the dead guy and see if it makes things better or worse.

Heat, cold, shock therapy... I mean he might not be dead, no-one has checked so if he wakes up we can try asking him some more questions :p

This sounds suspiciously like heresy... But I'm not an ecclesiarchal priest, so go knock yourself out, kid!
