Extra grip/pistol grip ro such, then wield one in each hand?

Yeah, it's certainly a valid option ruleswise, and I did think about it…

…but I must admit I find it a bit much when I try to picture it?

Maybe I've just seen too many of those YouTube videos where you've got an Amer… a guy...  holding his beer in one hand and firing a shotgun in the other?

Hilarity and injury ensue.

I know that in a setting of truly ridiculously big guns, weird aliens and space wizards, that's probably a funny place to draw the line of things that break my suspension of disbelief, but there you go!

Look, buddy, I still have the other big toe! That's why God gave us all two, ain't it?

If you like Pistols and Shotguns, then there is the Shotgun Pistol from the Inquisitor's Handbook.

One of the more deadly low-end melee weapons as the scatter rule is in full effect at that range.

I decided that Kerr Restal would stay with the Dual Shot and Quick Draw expenditure.

Now he is looking for a brace of Westingkrup Carnodon's.

Oh to be near an Arbites armoury with Inquisitional Authority...

GM OOC: Tro, amazingly you don't have Logic as a Trained Skill, but it's Basic, so used at half-stat. Even so, you still manage to pass this despite all the odds against you. Remarkable. (Please note I did specify Logic - not just Intelligence, however, that is just for going forward. Well done, sir, well done).

I don’t?

Oops, sorry.

Well I have unspent XP and it is a rank 1 options so how about I quickly buy it and we assume he had it before...

Edit: Do I need a fresh logic test for the next round of the discussion I just posted?

No, not at all - consider it a continuation.

Will adjust my post if Nicios wants to lend an assist with the psychic angle of things, undermining her credibility.

No worries.

Might want to get rid of something else @Machine God. From my recollection you were carrying a lot of kit, so I had a look. By my calc you're over your encumbrance threshold (luckily, only just - 1kg) but you're at -10 to Movement tests and your AB goes down by 1 until you do; and if you carry it around for bit, you start getting hit with fatigue.

Which cure do you mean? (That might be causing any confusion, as there are two! )

We have one, the serum that will apparently cure Magda Aldario from her family curse.

The other is a cure for Gwynne Aldario, for the xeno-toxin the assassins shot her with. Either De Grassi or the Inquisitrix might be able to provide this cure.

@Lysimachus - Well he doesn't have a beer in one hand, but

While we have a few leads and directions to go, I have been wondering, would it make sense for Bardas to have a go at trying to scout around the AdMech enclave?

We know they have been silent, and the golem has influences  and reach there (or even has it’s lair there, I am not sure from the clues so far).

Definitely an area unexplored, and perhaps more willing to discuss matters now that warships are moving into 'nuke the site from orbit' positions.

Wandering down into the Mechanicus Holdings is perfectly doable.

Just talk to Haldane to arrange it. You can catch him in the Strategium, the Panopticon, or the Deployment room depending on how 'public' you want it.

Right then, at the moment I have (IIRC):

The De Grassi Exchange:

  • Reynard

The Ratcatchers of Grey 17:

  • Falk ?
  • Nicios

I happen to be an engineer myself:

  • Bardas

We're a couple of folks light. Can you clue me into what you want you want to get up to, and then I can move us on.

Cheers.

I'll get a post up afer dinner to show Bardas's choice. He is indeed goign to say hello to his suposed superriors, report the rading of the shrine in the mountains some moths ago and such, and have a  very good look around for any AI.

Let's send Scourge along to deal with Greyson. I'll get a post up with purchases and final xp spend up later today. I have a busy day ahead of me.

Despite all of Scourge's bluster about sending the Inquisitrix an IED, I haven't actually devised that brilliant of a plan for delivering it inside of the archeotech/arcanotech(?) crate. I'm thinking I may need to spend xp on the Demolition skill, though at rank 0, we're only looking at a 33% success chance if Scourge does the wiring job himself (not the sharpest tool in the shed). Ideally the bomb would be hidden well enough to go unnoticed on a casual inspection whenever/wherever Locke's drug-deal with the Ordo Xenos go down, and wouldn't obliterate everyone there. Something with a timer or some such, but likely too sophisticated for my feudal-era simpleton to arrange.

*Scourge Gleefully hands the bomb to Bardas* "Prithee care, metallic sage, for I hath devised a time-gauge of devilish trickery!"

"It's a sun dial?"

"Aye, and when the shadows lengthen, to quarter afore noon, the harpy shall be taken to the fires!"

"But the lights are on all the time in our hive."

"Curses! I repair to the midden to hatch more schemes."
