Claviger: one that keeps the key or keys : custodian, warden.

In this instance, each of the servitors who come up from below are wearing a vambrace which acts as a key (a claviger). Bardas will recognise this; as posted previously - it's an IFF transponder the 'guardian spirits' of the doors/auto-turrets will recognise.

Falks position / turns should be easy to track as he's just been running the whole time. He's slower the Scourge but I think overtakes him with the stun round, so that extra armour might come in handy sooner that I had hoped :p

I know that currently it's just Falk and Kerr Restal up and about.

How far does Restal have to cover to get to the doorway?

Restal's ears are still working but have Blade techno theme running

Predictive text typo

AFAICT, I've plotted you all (from the 'front' door, allowing for a bit of narrative drift and GM largesse):

  • Falk -10m
  • Scourge -20m
  • Restal at -50m (Advance 6, Advance 6, Walk 6, Charge 18)
  • Nicios -50m

You can by all means cover the door from where you are with a Delay Half-Action, or an Overwatch Full Action, but IIRC you need a SAB/FAB capable weapon of doing so. Note we are still in Structured Time, and will therefore need to declare your Action as normal. If Falk blocks your shot, and you fire, misses will run a 50% (I will roll) of ending up in his back, as the doorway is fairly tight now.

I was going to Post a Frag Grenade.

But I have a new idea to post Kerr Restal's action. I just need to ask something about how I'm going to write his thought's.

I'm posting on my laptop, but I thought to ask what text colours are best not to use if people are reading on a smartphone?

I'm a 95% smartphone poster, and since the board update last year to this new unified format, I've had no issues with viewing any posts or text colours (unless you're deliberately changing your text color to black from the board-standard "inverted black" ).

@Necronaut - Thank you. I looked at the Black Font and it just comes up as normal text on PC so I thought what was the point. Not using Black anyway, so passe.

I was thinking of using Red for a bit, then cooling to Orange with a bit of Green possibly, (I won't be using Emerald as that's my go to Spoiler Text Colour). Finally cooling to normal Font.

@Machine God Well that's not good to hear.

If you ever have a cool idea, feel free to float it in the OOC, or let me know what you're thinking. Sometimes posts can move fast if I'm lurking, and unless I know what's in someone's head, there's not much groundwork I can lay.

If you want the idea to be a surprise, you can always drop it into PM, so we can plot it out.

EDIT: Last post updated. Narrative Time is now in force.

Stuff

@GM: Just wondering, should I be writing Reynard and co through the sub-passages/furnace/hangar narratively, or do you have something more specific in mind?

Not sure if I'm waiting for you or you're waiting for me... no worries either way (and no rush!) I'm just not sure if I should already be scribbling away at something!

@Lysimachus go ahead and channel your 40k 'Die Hard', crawling through the tunnels as you please. Keep in mind you are being chased though - you know the enemy are like cats, able to crawl into small spaces, so an encounter is possible.

@A.T., yes no problem, I was giving the others a chance to post before moving on.

I found my Mojo. I had to hunt down the back of the sofa.

So we've met some of this new group. They apparently are allied with OX and the other Inquisitor .

We've been told about One-Zero which is Number Two and so the Inquisitor is Number One, it's a good job that you didn't name the servitor Rover.

So is it correct to surmise that the data-jock from the Wrestling Match that Restal placed the tracker on works for them too?

I think it might have been IIRC, been a while since I saw B5.

In this instance, it refers to the Third Battle of Chryse Planitia, 19 April 2160/04 Sagittarius 293, from one of my novels.

Any thoughts and suggestions welcome as to where Bardas should go. Attempt escape, continue looking into the suspected servitorisiation of abducted Hive folk or further down the rabbit hole.

Go deeper - less likely to get run over by another vehicle if you are indoors.
