At the moment, it's specific to location, and there are time differences in play as well, as it happens 'roughly' as you arrive at Grey 17. The Golem is browbeating the police force, essentially taunting Locke and whoever is there to help him, it's an expression of Locke's failures to contain it.

Lovely stuff!

Just checking, I'm not sure how many mortuary attendants there were with Reynard's group? The three that are now vapourised, were they the ones carrying Gwynne? Is she still being carried by anyone, or is the bag dropped on the floor?

Also for clarity, are we still in the corridor outside the Hangar or is this happening in the Hangar? Can we see the Voivode yet?

Still in the corridor. There is one attendant left, pulled over by the sudden shift in wieght.

The Voivode is a short, brown trousers run around the corner (into the main hangar) the beam has gone past you, and inside. You'll be grateful to know Cutter is now awake.

You could certainly attempt to vox him, but unless it has been categorically said, I'll off-screen this now: The Strategium is in enemy hands. Every transmission in, every picter, every screen, every key-log is in the Golem's power.

Physically locked doors are safe - push-pin, keypad, anything isolated.

Lifts, hydraulic and pneumatic doors are lethal traps.

From knowing about you enemy as much as you do, you could easily surmise this IC.

Reynard is on his own until he reaches the safety and power of the Voivode's very ornery machine-spirit.

A convoy of empty racks rolls past you, headed for deeper in the facility. The servitors ignore you - obviously monotasked.

Empty as in they have delivered their cargo in the Surgery and are heading back for more, or empty as in they have no more people to deliver to the Surgery for Servitorization?

Question, does Reynard get any kind of bonus to that Scrutiny test? Didn't Locke already tell him that all the comms were compromised?

(Just with Per28 and not having Scrutiny Trained, I can't see much chance of passing it, even if I use a FP?)

That said, to be honest even if he believes it is Scourge, he's not going to try to take Gwynne away from the Voivode (it just doesn't make sense to go away from it now he's there) so maybe it doesn't matter...?

It's a fair question - but knowing it is compromised, and knowing who is calling you on your supposedly clean frequency, is not the same thing.

Pass or fail, it's not going to make you haul-ass down to Bastion 3...

For clarity - Scourge's original message does not get through. What both/all Players hear is what I have written.

@Necronaut just a reminder mate, this is a different Proctor.

Haldane is diced beef inside.

Whoops, I'll edit that bit! Apologies to the deceased!

<Pours one out for our fallen NPC bro>

With regard to Scourge: to quote Mom (Futurama), "FLY, MY STUPIDS! FLY OUT AND GET THEM!"

So it seems like the Voivode is toast.

Trying to dislodge a crazy servitor from the face of its cockpit by ramming the side of buildings.

So it's going to be Fun Time assaulting the HoJ.

We are all going to die in lots of different ways...

I'm still hoping, given the previous descriptions of how well armoured the Voivode is, that it may have survived...

... and hopefully, given that it's been shotgunned, heavy boltered, autocannoned and then rammed into a solid wall by a massive gunship, the Las-Servitor hasn't.

So Bardas can try and return to the others now, however I was thinking, since he is already down there maybe he should head for the thermal stack control centre or so. After all it would be a shame to win against the golem only for it to cause the meltdown of the Hive as a last act of spite, at that point the group might as well just have taken to orbit and let the preordered bombardment commence.

Thoughts

That's probably not a bad idea at all, cut it out of the Hive controls? Although when our GM mentioned the final mission, I suspect it might be in that area anyway?

As to extra missions, we still want to get Gwynne and her cure together, whether the voivode can fly out to get it or the Valkyrie brings it in? So we can set up the hammer for hopefully killing the Golem?

On a more personal note, if Reynard survives and encounters Greyson he will definitely want to ask where Le Croix Senior is and reunite him with Seb? Other than that, maybe find some flowers for the Lady Drexler?

*Makes notes...*

Ignore me, continue.

That's part of your core mission. It will tidy off in the end of the assault. Solomon is being handed the cure, he can bring it to the hangar. I'll Leave Marshal Valkenhayn to tidy that off, or I'll move the Character on otherwise.

Speaking of this, I'm assuming that is Vigilance doing the handing? If so, does that mean he was Galleus' informant among Locke's people?

Edit: come to think of it, what have all the other V's been up to recently?
