Not 5 DoF, or 6....

On the one hand there is nothing life threatening hinging on this role

Life-threatening? Poppycock! What could ever go wrong in a place like this, whilst trying to tomb rob a corpse with only one arm and suspiciously advanced augmetics made of strange metal? With a power source under it that should have burned out years ago, whilst at least four hours away from rescue?

Pish-posh, I say!

You can assume that the name was uttered by Von Bosch at some point in his ramblings, and mentioned by Lazlo, both of whom believed him very much alive.

Bardas will be aware, that thanks to staid AdMech tradition, only one Executor would exist at any one time.

Any help?

Just wanted to be sure as to where things stood, I could not remember encountering the name Devran Holle before, and as I got the impression that you had deliberately not named the Executor that was mentioned in the previous posts in relation to the AdMech enclave and the Golem.

As such I was trying to work out if this was that same Executor (as you have now confirmed, thanks) or if this was another, a predecessor for example, or one sidelined and eliminated by the golem for resting.

Hmm, so that would be half Fel +10. For Reynard that's (45/2) +10 = 33, right? Do the Arbites have any Disposition that improves things any further, or is that covered by the +10?

Falk (also Fel45) would get another +10 for Peer: Arbites for a total target of 43, so maybe we should leave the Command-ing to him? (Probably appropriate, to be fair!)

There is a 'legate investigator' that grants command for Arbites of rank 4 or higher in the inquisitors handbook (it's where I got the sigil of question idea from) - Falk would have picked it up but we aren't using alternate ranks. Perhaps if there is a follow up game at some point :p

@Necronaut - SAB is a Full Action, a Jam is a miss.

Then clearing a Jam is a Full Action next turn, success means that the Bolter needs to be reloaded and any ammo in it is lost. Bolters need a Full Action to reload.

So on Round 4 you can fire again.

It might be better to engage some Hammer Action.

@Necronaut the bolter you're using is a Godwyn-Diaz and has the Reliable weapon quality, which means on a Jam, you roll a D10, and only if you roll a 9 on that dice is the weapon Jammed.

The shot is then relegated to just a miss.

You may edit your post with the roll against the Jam. The Miss stands, as this is a separate roll unaffected by the Quality.

MG has the right of it on the other aspects.

A quick note on the ammo consumption. I never thought about it before, because jams are relatively rare, but MG is right again in that (RAW) the whole magazine is discarded - this is due, once again, to FFG's manglewords. A house rule that I generally apply here, (RAI), is that the rounds for the Attack are discarded - so in his instance, it would be the 2/3 rounds used in the SAB.

That goes for everyone, no matter of weapon type.

In truth, the refresher is very....prescient.
