Got a few Joytoy figures now, had the first lot of Infiltrators and then recently the Wolf Claw Pack.  And you guys know nothing of mine stays "stock", with that in mind here is my random updates, bit swaps for these guys.  I'm not a great sculptor and there is not a great many bits out there I can make moulds from, so it won't be ground breaking.

I've started with updating the paint job on some of the belts, shoulder pads, weapons etc.

Here I've removed all the wolf tails and doing repairs to the holes.  For this guy I will have 1 single wolf tail on his belt and update the gold and re-paint the wold head.  All my wolves carry firearms with red casings, so also an update on the paint job and took the wolf tail they randomly add to the knees (why?) filled the hole in it with green stuff and it will be attached to the Bolt Pistol handle.

Progress will be slow on this thread as I'm just going to do bits now and again.

Made some progress on my weapons, Bolt Rifle had the Aquila thingy removed (I don't know what that is made of, but geez it is tough material, it took ages to scrape off!) and a Long Fang backpack Totem added and a diamond that I made a mould of from the Venerable Dred kit.  I'm thinking one of my guys will be a Long Fang Sergeant.  Painted it up in my normal red casing and it does have a Long Fang and Rune decals, but they don't show up too well in the light.

Next was Bolt Pistol, I took a few moulds from different bits on the kits so I have Rune Stone, Wolf Tooth and Blood Claw emblem.  Not 100% sure which will be attached, but I have a few pistols to do.

Did some work on one of the pads.  Added some 1.5mm ball bearings and then adjusted the colours to my normal, Runelord Brass with Agrax Earthshade and redid the gem as it's painted with a metallic red, mine is Mephiston Red, highlight with Pink Horror then some slight shading using Agrax.  Depending on how much battle damage I add to the other bits of the armour I will scuff up the decal and yellow paint later:

Next up, remove the skull from the Aquila and replace with a wolf skull (had a big batch of these 3d printed a while back for normal scale Primaris).  This is just held in place with blu-tac, I need to do a bit of green stuff filling:

Pistol updated with rune stone, feels a bit big, so might trim it down some more.

Did some work on the knee pads, 1st one just has 1.5mm ball bearings added, 2nd has some casts I made from Dwarf axes, ball bearings and a terminator honour badge, this will be my long fang.

Next was a Long Fang cast to replace the Aquila and some extra work on the left shoulder pad to add more detail, once the green stuff in dry that will be sanded down and more ball bearings added.

Then I remove the crossed bones from the belt and replaced with a Long Fang cast, it's a bit small, but it still works.

Few more bits done, first up the terrible paint job on this head, his lips and hair make him look like a drag act, hey if the Wolves want to wear lipstick that's cool with me, but it had to be changed and also I love panting my guys up with fiery hair!

I'd been toying with what to give my Long Fang Sergeant as a melee weapon, didn't want to keep the chainsword, but after some messing around I think this update will work (custom 3D printed wolf skull).  Bit of an WIP pic on the paint job, might do some hazard stripes or just a long run of black runes

Next I wanted him to half a wolf pelt but didn't want to steal one from another figure, so I made a mould and created a cast, this will also help me wolf-up some of my other Joytoy figures and I think the size can work on GW Dreds'.

Update on paint job on my Long Fang Sarg.

Few updates now.

Been applying some decals and most have worked ok, some of the older sets I have are very thin and the blue armour shows through, so for these yellow stripes I've doubled up the decal.

Next up is my almost finished chainsword.

Been working on various bits and bobs but not much worth sharing yet.  I have been looking at finding bits I can use scale wise and had some wolf skulls printed up, but they are more Thunder Wolf scale, so would only really work on vehicles or on McFarlane scale, so I've ordered some smaller ones.  One nice hack I did find was Lego Horns, pretty good scale as you can see from the pics and you can pick them up on ebay pretty cheap.  For my McFarlane guy I made some wolf teeth my whittling down bamboo BBQ skewers, which was a real pain!  I have started to trim them down a bit to a sharper point, but the material is a weird rubbery plastic, so it's hard work, but should be worth it.

Bit torn now, I had built a custom belt for my Long Fang Sgt. added a wolf pelt, diamond and wolf tooth with the Long Fang Symbol on the belt, but I'm not sure if the Long Fang Symbol is too small, if so should I go for the Wolf Skull?

Also, why do SW have diamonds, I mean I love adding them and painting them, but it struck me last night, where does this come from, I don't think it comes from the Viking influence?

Ordered some 3D printed bits for these guys, seems to be some variation in sizes from the same seller when it comes to JoyToy Scale, that axe looks like to would be better suited to McFarlane scale and the Chainsword is a little small.
