That's a very nice conversion, and excellent paint-job (as per usual), @One-eye

For me, the "pointy bit" of his staff is a bit over-sized, but hey, it's 40K

It is *way* oversized !!  But it can be handy when you want to cleave Demons in 2

The army is still growing, and I am quite enthusiastic towards 10th edition, with Termis and Sternguards :)

Lieutenant Betelgus is excellent! The face really is fantastically painted and you've done a cracking job with the discarded helmet.

The Epistolary's helmet is very cool indeed, so creepy and very fitting with the darker aspects of the lore and art - this is an eight-foot tall genetic beast with a direct mind link to hell, not our friend!

Thank you guys, your support means a lot !

I finally began an Intercessors squad. I wanted to convert them a little, so 3 of them have assault bodies, which I find more dynamic. And a bit of Exorcists flavor (candles, demon trophies, etc.) :)

Hello everyone. Been away for a long time, I moved several thousands km away and had work taking a lot of my time.

I have painted though (the tactical half-squad, a captain, etc.) and will update regularly. I have also begun a necron army in a terminator style.

I am happy to show my Judiciar, who is tweaked from the original one because of a few things I didn't like : the hourglass, the square-sword and the helmet.

Hope you like him !

Hi, first I want to say that this project is simply amazing and has inspired me to start a force of my own :)

But here comes the question:

I'm following the recipe you posted on facebook a while ago:

all airbrushed

Black undercoat followed by Black metal by Scale75, dark aluminium then aluminium, both by Vallejo.

Then Blood angels contrast thinned a bit.

But whatever I try, I can't seem to quite get the hang of it.

I understand that you are probably very busy or even not into the project anymore, but if you have time to read this, maybe you could share some WIPs of just primed and/or undercoated miniatures so we could get a glimpse of the metals before the red is applied?

In any case, I hope you find time to get some updates out as I would love to see more of this project :)
