Inquisitor_Lensoven
Trying to decide which rule to pair with mechanized for my first game. I’ve narrowed it down to 3 heirloom weapons elite sharpshooters veteran geurillas Edited November 25, 2022 by duz_ Updated title Tallarn Commander 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/376655-regimental-rules-help-mech/ Share on other sites
Inquisitor_Lensoven
Think i'll try my first game using mech and elite sharpshooters, and then throw heirloom weapons on my kasrkin as well. Commander_Moustache
I think sharpshooters would be your best bet. The others rely on being further away and since you are playing mech guard, you have the advantage in speed so you will logically be closer. Geurrillas is a close range boost. 18” or less isn’t exactly long range dueling. I figured this would make it easier to shift enemies from objectives since they are often in terrain features. and for heirloom I was thinking that extra 4” of range could really benefit melta weapons and any flamers I choose to use. heirloom moves the melta rule from 6” out to 8”. anyway that’s my thoughts on those two. mertbl
Consider the counts as 3/5/10 model one if you'll have lots of transports. I played a game with mech and it was cute but also consider that you'll get to use it like once per transport so its got a limited utility. I thought about it, but if I can kill the enemy more efficiently then model count becomes less important. besides that’s such a boring rule Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/376655-regimental-rules-help-mech/#findComment-5887869 Share on other sites
