Company of Misery Kill Team and Demon buddies.

Just a small Legionairy kill team, and some demon minis. A friend got a 2nd copy of the Chaos issue of Imperium and kindly donated the minis to me so I converted some specialists from those.

I've always wanted an OG Demon Prince mini, its easily one of the nicest ones theyve ever made, but Im not sure I did it justice. I tried a dark red contrast paint over a bright silver for the armour but it looks fuzzier than I'd like, instead of metallic.

Thanks! Its the first time I've tried blending effects, Im pretty happy with how they came out on the smaller demons.

Yeah, it worked great and both highlights the supernatural nature of the mutations and adds a nice bit of contrast colour.  I find those types of transitions really hard to pull off but you really nailed it.

Thanks! All I did was put some black contrast at the top, some purple contrast in the middle and a watered down skin tone at the bottom and then used the mini as the palatte, blending the transition points while the paints were still wet. The highlight was a mix of pink and flesh tone to try keep it all sort of tied together. I find Contrast paints blend really well, I didn't use medium this time but next time I definitely will to give even more working time and a more subtle blend.
