Cor I'd be interested to see how that fairs. Very aggressive for Ultramarines and melee focused, which can and does surprise people!

Are you talking to me?  About that 3 Bubble list?  I wouldn't run it, and it does have some weaknesses with a lack of long range high S shooting.   If I made something like that, I'd wait for the Lion to come out and try it with potentially some sort of Multi-Wing list.  Belial and some T's, Sammael and some bikes, then the Lion and some... somethings.

Yeah the 3 character death star you gave as an example. Very interesting for Ultramarines. I'd want to throw in the Standard of Macragge Inviolate somehow.

In my recent game, I found myself holding onto the Devastator Doctrine for an extra turn and it really made the army quite effective, especially with Heavy Bolters etc. I quite enjoyed it.

 

Also, Martial Precision on the Kratos with its big shot was lovely too. Helped kill Bjorn!
