A complaint occasionally voiced here at the Bolter & Chainsword is that the rules of the site stifle discussion, that discussions should be allowed to evolve naturally. that being said, this presentation provides the benefit of context or example.

While I also occassionaly feel like the content moderation is a tad too stringent, it's a "price" I happily pay for the fact that this is one of the most constructive and pleasant online communities I'm a part of. I feel that the very active moderation is a big part of what makes this forum so good.
