My imperial fists

So just a quick background for these.  I had been out the Hobby for over 15 years and was an avid Space Wolf Player.  I bought the basic 8th edition recruit boxed set as i was curious about the new Primaris marine models.  Having not painted for 15+ years i decides to try something new before going back to painting Space wolves.  So i decided on a doing imperial fists as i had never painted them before.  Here are the terrible results of those first 3 starter models.

 

I also then painted a redemptor but that was less painful as i used an airbrush.

I think they turned out nicely, and great use of decals. That's a very unique shade of yellow.

Don't suppose you used to hang around the Space Wolf forum when there used to be the tavern brawls and hunts? Arez and myself causing a bit of mischief now and then?

Those models look great mate. Don't sell yourself short. The Redemptor looks pretty bad ass to me. I think you should pleased. Look forward to seeing more pics if you choose to post and welcome back to the hobby.
