What are your thoughts? Galron Posted February 22, 2023 Share Posted February 22, 2023 I see quite a few problems. For one, Basilisks suck, no if ands or buts. The only two artillery pieces worth bringing are Scorpius tanks and Quad launchers. Bassies look cool on the table and are thematic but GW in its infinite wisdom nerfed artillery into the ground. My Medusas are collecting dust for the same reason. We only have so many heavy support slots unfortunately. On the bright side Scorpius tanks are cheaper than Bassies so you save some points. Number two- Whats the point of your Cataphractii squad? Right now they cant even take on another equivalent terminator squad. I recommend at least one in five terminators take a chainfist for the inevitable clash they will have with a Contemptor. A couple power fists as well. Look into Dominator Terminators too, easy to convert standard cataphractii into them and they all carry thunderhammers or chainfists and get the bonus of a multi-melta heavy weapon. if you are going to bring a HSS with autocannons, you might as well make them Iron Havocs for roughly same points cost. Breachers are pricy but with an apothecary they are a hard to move brick. I would cut one squad and add them to the other for a bigger brick and run them down the middle under protection of the quad launchers with phosphex. Not a huge fan of predators but then I have nothing against them either. Dont overlook graviton maces on guys with power swords, its a really nice upgrade. I also just realized neither Golg nor Khyr are warsmiths anymore. I think they were in the last edition Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
