How do you foresee the future of AdMechs in the new Ed.?

I think the BS and Sv reduction happened just to increase the distance between AdMech and other factions like Sisters, T'au, Eldar and more recently Votann.

 

Basically these were all jammed in close to a BS3+ T3 Sv4+ +/-1 paradigm.

 

The stats for those factions are now much more differentiated, and that's unfortunately at the expense of Skitarii to a substantial extent. As an Eldar/Votann player and a frequent opponent to Sisters and T'au, I kind of like that the list is more distinct from those even if it does end up being even more horde style. I'm mostly happy to be 'Guard with better/esoteric guns' and some vicious assault/skirmish options. I have an inkling that I'll have room in my list to add a unit or two, and that's mostly welcome, despite only having just reached a proper 2000 pts of AdMech... The Skorpius has grown on me since release, so that's likely the next natural thing to help my majority infantry list at this point.

 

Anyway - hard to know what is what until there's more rules in the wild.

New servitors are semi-confirmed (current kit is going out of production, while still having full rules support - as there is no model-no rules rule, this means new models incoming)!

All the SM units that were announced as being put into legends are currently in the index. 

 

It would be nice if we kept Servitors, or got new ones, but I have kinda lost faith in GW 40K releases.
