Some more free rules up today on WarCom; Cult of the Arkifane this time.

It's an interesting way of building a Boarding Action army, that's for sure. Only units with the Cultist keyword means that you're bound to swarm the board. Not allowing more Accursed that Normal is probably better for balance.

It could've been cool to let them only have Cultists and one Obliterator model or something similar maybe?

It's fun reading the strats, since every one is written specifically with Boarding actions in mind. 

 

Their stealth strat is basically "Turn the lights off."

 Cultist keyword does include the traitor guard squad, and the enfocer/ogryn duo as well to give a bit more variety.  With those guys, the cult hq unit and some regular and accursed  cultists you can get some firepower and heavy hitting mixed in. Not sure if the there are any other units that would fit.

I wonder if Vashtorr's cult (or cultists in general) will get a Kill Team at some point, or if the Blooded have that niche locked down.

If the cult of the Arkifane could be translated into a general cultist army that would be pretty cool. Most likely just a one off though, which is probably good for my wallet and my pile of shame. Been resisting the urge to buy up a bunch of the blooded kits already;)
