Well, the yellow wash came out really orangy... :)

It turns out that it was bob ross situation. My first intend was to add some black flames as decoration on the yellow plate.

The orange was finally a happy accident, with the new yellow dab i've just added, i find the overall look even more "flamy" so no more black flames in the scope :)

I'm close to finishing :)

I will not make updates for the next 3 weeks as i will be off the grid :)

Next steps will be the blade, some black parts, the base with a kaban drone.

I should be in time before the end of the vows :)

Saw this guy in your Call to Arms post, and loved him.  The yellow, the weathered bronze, the tiny buddy, they are all perfect.  Only thing I would change are the eye lenses, which seem kind of muted and which (IMHO) would look better if they stood out more (they look a bit dusty - which if probably realistic, but I think they would be better as a more sci fi "glowing eye" (even if not glowing) focal point) - maybe in more vibrant/saturated colours, or with some kind of gem like hightlights?

Thanks for the feedbacks.

With a second look, i agree with you, the paint job might benefit with a more realistic gem like treatment.

Beginning of the school year is always a rush, but as soon as i can get back on painting, i will definitely give it a try :)
