44er Tabletop Posted April 16, 2023 Share Posted April 16, 2023 Hello, I forgot to introduce myself, but here we go… Just a few words from my side: I am from Germany and i like tabletop games. I started a different System with a friend in 2017. Eventually he quit and i switched over to Warhammer 40K with the start of the 8th edition. I had a Deamon army, but i stopped playing, because there was something going on in my life at that time. I sold all my Daemons (about 2300 points), for what i am still sad. I wanted to start new with 9th…it didnt work. I didnt have any motivation to paint and not really someone to play. So Warhammer 40K and tabletop in general was sleeeping (though i was still buying SM models here and there…Kind of Crazy :D) About three weeks ago (before i heard of 10 edition), i decided to finish a paintjob on a model that i didnt touch for years. And in that moment i had so much fun with the painting, that i finished the model. From that day a have been doing something every day. Even it was only a small thing. It turned from work into fun….this really helped me to find some motivation to play. So when i heard about 10th edition, i was very excited and i am looking forward to finish my armies until then and get back into the game. I signed up for this forum, to get in touch with people who like this hobby, to have conversacions, to find help with paint techniques (because i am a beginner) and to just have a „virtual“ place that is conectes to my hobby. This was a really Long introduction :D Thank you for reading. I hope you all have a great Sunday. And i wish all of you that paint many many many models :D.
