I’ve played 40k on and off for about 20 years and have gotten my enjoyment mainly from the painting aspect of the hobby. I’ve always found it relaxing and dare I say therapeutic. I’m coming back to the hobby off of a long hiatus and have to say I absolutely love some of the new models. I can’t wait to start painting again. But aside from the painting the lore is also a major part of my draw to 40k/30k. It’s all so deep and rich (and grim dark) It’s always fun to put on a good audiobook or lore video and get some paint applied to those models. Once again I’m glad to be here and look forward to some enthralling and enrapturing conversations.
