Edited by - Gap

Hello Mod's.

 

On the old board IIRC, there was a line at the bottom of a post.

 

When I later edited my post, the software would put: Edited by Machine God under the line. The line made a gap between the post.

 

Now when we edit a post the Edited by Frater is stuck on the bottom.

 

Now I here you cry "What's the problem in that?"

 

I post content now in Other Games - Roleplaying Games - PBP Games. My Moderator is Lysimachus.

 

So it's lots of text. When I post and then later have to edit the Edited by Machine God goes to the next line underneath.

 

Would it be possible to add a gap of a couple of lines underneath so that there is a gap between my post and the Edited by part.

I believe that is just how the software works. The easiest way I can think of would be to double space and add a full stop on the third line whenever you edit a post, Edit By should then appear under that, giving a clear break. 

 

 

Like so (actually, you don't even need a full stop, just the spaces will do it

There are some hacks that will work for now. In the long run, we'll look at building some vertical space into the theme so that you don't have to use hacks in the long run.
