A 9th Edition Tournament Send Off.

Over the past weekend I played in the last 9th edition major tournament in the area.  Here is a pic of my army. 

I don’t have picks of the first round but I won with 87 points.

My second round opponent was Necrons with the Silent King leading them.  It was close for the first 2 turns but on turn 3 I managed to melta the Silent king of the board and kill the rest of the Necrons in combat.

Game 3 I faced a Greater Demon with Soul Grinders list.  It included Be’ lakor, 3 Keeper of Secrets including the names one, 2 Soul Grinders and a Slaanesh demon chariot.  I was able to withstand their incredible movement but my Eradicators were all killed in his first turn.  It was the counter charge of Wulfen, SkyClaws snd WolfGuards that over the next 2 turns used melta shots followed by fists and hammers to bring them down.  I won the match with 94 points.

Game 4 was against the general would be tournament champion who also brought the Sons of Russ to the battle field.  His list was better than mine, his play was better than mine and in the end his score was better than mine.  I lost the game only scoring 41 points.  He was able to screen out his territory while pushing quickly into the mid-board and I couldn’t push hard enough back.  It was however a very fun game and he was a great guy to play against.
