A question about Arks of Omen

I recently ordered Abbadon, Vashtorr and the Lion books and im wondering if the Farsight Arks of Omen is worth purchasing for a lore understanding perspective. I have never been a big fan of the Tau or hated them Im largely wondering if the story is good or purposeful in some manner to merit a purchase and time spent reading.

I found it interesting. Besides the usual shallow "bolter p*rn" of codexes, it deals with a break away Tau faction dealing with chaos corruption without a real understanding of it, like a xeno version of the early HH stories with imperials and the Imperial Truth.

If you don't like T'au, then just skip it. It doesn't contribute to the overall plot much, from what I've seen.
