Greetings Autarchs, Solitares and Dino-riding-Outcasts!

 

@Grotsmasha and @Triszin are putting on a Forum wide event from the 1st July (1 month from now) until 30th September to celebrate 10th Edition's release!

The forum is split up into 3 Strongholds: Imperium, Chaos and Xenos with all 3 factions competing against one another to paint the most in the 3 months time limit. There will be a Central hub thread for each of the Strongholds in the WIP Section which I will link once it's live. We can use thread to cross post in and track/give motivation to those participating.

Got a bunch of craftworlders and corsairs to paint, plus some kill team terrain. Probably won't pledge too much though as I've got another job change and move to prépare for August :/

I'm not likely to contribute much here. I've been participating in an Escalation league for months and I will certainly be taking a break from precise grey and white highlighting. I might do a few Ork models to shake off the Ulthwé monochrome blues.

I'll just end up pledging my whole lot. Will be great motivation to get off my butt and actually paint these eldar!

I have just dug into my pile of shame and recovered most of my Craftworld eldars from the the forgotten Realms where they were stored since... a very long time. Most are unpainted (I only have painted  a wraithlord and a squad of shinning spears), even unprimed, or unassemblied. My total number of wannabe used units/models is:

1. 1 falcon to be mounted
2. 2 wave serpents (the FW kit) one of which has been primed and set with base coat but it has to be retaken from zero
3. 28 guardians un assemblied inc a set for 10 white metal storm guardians weapons
4. 10 storm guardians with base colour but more or less all broken (nothing that some superglue can´t cure) - This is what happens after 6 moves.
5. 3 warlocks inc 1 converted on jet bike
6. 1 converted banshee exarch from Drazzar white metal body - will count as Autarch
7. 2 vypers unassemblied
8. 10 dire avengers (ther ones from the old metal/plastic kit)
9. 2 Farseer inc. one converted Farseer on jet bike
10. 1 guardian defender unit of 10 (?) with its weapon platform
11. 6 jet bikes

So more than enough to pledge 3 in the xenos strong hold. I will have to make a sound selection as it makes a lot especially in the summer period which is in general my most busy time of the year...

I will probably try to paint the equivalent of the patrol box - as I have already compleetd the Wraithlord it will require adding the farseer, a defender squad and the 6 motojets. Decent enough I guess...
