After reading / seeing the first pics of the Leviathan box I decided I wanted to put together my own Hive Fleet.  To scratch the itch I picked up a box of Termagants and a Brood Lord.

 

Which lead to the first challenge - what colour scheme should I use?  

 

So, after a lot of head scratching this is what I came up with :

 

 

 

 

 

And with all of their new friends - The box arrived Friday morning and I was lucky enough to have a quiet weekend.

 

 

Now which ones do I paint first…. Hmmmm…….

So the first of Leviathan models have come off the painting table.  First up we have a batch of termagants, a neuroloid and a barbgaunt:

 

 

 

Next up, and one of my favourites, the Neurotyrant:

 

 

Mainly painted using contrast paints - the base scheme being skeleton horde, plaguebearer flesh, briar queen chill and lexicon purple.  In addition, colourshift metals from GSW and one of the new fluorescent liquid pigments from AK interactive (light orange), and then some fun with base.
