Valrak just uploaded a short video with one interesting bit for LI in there, apparently the box will be £120.

Would be the same price as the new Cerastus knights so £120/155€/$200

Oh that's better than I feared. I was worried we might have a titanicus grand master edition on our hands.

$200 USD gives me hope for the boxes. We might be seeing most boxes around the $50/60 USD price point. Factoring in the savings for a starter box with the rulebook $200/$210 is really reasonable.

Any mention of whether it’s a one and done box set or a regular stocked item?

Just guessing, but since it's on the LI website front and centre I'd be very surprised if it's not a regular stocked item.

I wouldn't be surprised if the reprints means the initial run ends up selling out quickly, however.

Hmm. £120 for a boxed set that has 2 Titans I don't want and Solar Auxilia I don't want... I'm hoping I can buy separate rules and infantry boxes.

Selling stuff on Ebay is a chore.

Yes, I don't mind the SA, but I wonder if the Warhounds were put in to discourage buying multiple boxes

Well, 4 Kratoses (Kratoi?) in the launch box? That's interesting.

edit: so everything not available in this first pre-order is:

- Separate Russes, Malcadors, Predators, and Sicarans

- Fire support boxes for both factions

Everything else was dubiously a part of "The Great Slaughter" second wave.

That would be cool but it doesn't match with the number of 61 models as announced (1 stand = 1 model - 18 stands infantry SM + 18 stands infantry SA + 4 dreadnoughts + 4 stands Ogryns + 4 stands SA walker + 2 warhounds + 5 SM tanks + 6 SA tanks gets us to 61 individual models). I believe the picture is misleading and the Kratos tanks are not part of the box. I would be happy if proven wrong on this point of course.

My wallet just died ... again

Well spotted, that's an interesting inconsistency. Still, I can't imagine how Kratoses would have ended up in the picture if they aren't in the box, I think it's more likely that Warcom goofed and just copied their work from the initial reveal article.

not fire support, basic infantry boxes, effectively the "infantry" of each half of the starter box

Maybe it is an addition to "compensate" for the wait  wait & see.

Congratulations, everyone. We made it. Now just five more years for Battlefleet Gothic’s reboot and we can finally build the Expeditionary Fleet to go with our armies!
