(I might've forgotten something, feel free to let me know.)

I'm honestly surprised at the amount of changes.
I expected some tweaks (with a few being quite heavy) - not more or less changes to the entire Index (with the exception of some characters, vehicles and a bunch of units where sadly, most are likely not going to make it into the codex. Vanguard on foot not being changed and as such now being noticeably more expensive than Vanguard /w JP is a big "hmmmMMMM?"-red flag.)

Some of the things that desperately needed to go down in price did: the Box-Dread, the Brutalis Dread and both flavours of Centurions all needed a serious reduction.

I'm positively surprised by some of it: I didn't expect both Aggressors or regular Terminators to go down in price by ~3 ppm. Land Raiders getting a big (+10%) reduction was a surprise as well, seeing as people seems to field them and I've seen no complaints about them being too expensive. Sadly LR's going down just (imo) furthers the divide that already existed between them and Repulsors. I already thought that Land Raiders where the better choice most of the time, and now even more so....

All is not great news though. I expected some small point-increase on the Lancer and Sternguard (and Hellblasters, kinda surprised they remained completely unchanged), but at this point I'm starting to think GW regrets even making the Desolation Marine - and this is coming from someone who owns 0. Locking them at 5 (and at 40 ppm no less) seems a bit steep. Why not just prevent characters from being able to join them?
Assault Teminators going up in cost (even if it's just by 1 ppm) also feels... weird, especially considering that regular Terminators went down by 3 ppm. Did I miss something in regards to Assault Terminators? They've just seemed like the inferior choice to regular Terminators, even when they where 1 ppm cheaper, and now they're 4 ppm more expensive...

All in all I'm pleased with our changes, time to start playing around with lists. My Dread-list can probably fit an extra Dread or two now!

My Gravis Terminator army just added a unit I think. wow

As far as the Assault Terminators ... I think the price reduction on Land Raiders might be part of that equation. I know I'm looking to buy a Redeemer when they're back in stock.

I don't like what they did to Captains. I don't think they were burning up the Meta with that free CP.

My drop pod list that I have been using is a wash. I was able to use the few points reductions in it to add bolter discipline to my strike master. My Ironwing force with its land raider and redeemer on the other hand along with some changes here and there now has both raider types, a cerebus, a spartan and I added an assault terminator squad. Yeah it only has an LT for the Hellblasters but I think dropping the chaplain who rode with the assault intercessors was worth it.

My minotaur list(space wolves) just gave me 125 points to spend. Thinking maybe some inceptors since my list is mostly ground pounders and I have the models lying around somewhere waiting for a home.

I completely missed that change to 0CP stratagem abilities. Only being able to choose Battle Tactic ones is really limiting.

I'm totally okay with it.  The constant arguments with Overwatch over the once-per-phase versus once-per-turn were getting tiresome.

I suppose is can be a bit powerful if the ability is spammed.
