Lord Marshal
Blood for... you know... the dude. Quote In addition to a brand new scenario, War in the Wastes, in this month’s article you will find rules for playing mass battles during the Age of the Gang Kings, where scores of fighters, vehicles, and brutes face off against each other in savage inter-hive warfare! Noserenda
Its an interesting idea, not sure how useful it is really, but then its trivial to adapt it to big gangs or coalitions. Its odd to essentially remove morale, and some weapons get a lot worse or better but then Newcromunda has never been very well balanced and its still mostly fun :D
Kilamandaros
Just seems like an attempt to streamline Necromunda into 40k, I'd rather just play 40K. Necromunda is all about the very detailed and specific interactions like setting someone on fire and watching them run off the edge of a building. Not a fan but just a free idea to TIOLI so no complaints, some may enjoy it. Noserenda and phandaal 2 Back to top
Indy Techwisp
The idea of "Big Scale" Necromunda Battles probably stems at least a little from how a bunch of Necromunda stuff is used for the Militia in HH2.0. Maybe this release is aimed at the person who bought a bunch of Necromunda things for a Militia HH2.0 army and needs easing into actual Necromunda. tinpact
Hm. Techno-barbarian large scale skirmishes? I imagine you could add or remove normal Necromunda rules to your taste for a more tailored game. DemonGSides 1 Back to top
OttoVonAwesome
Seems kinda fun but also makes me even saltier that the PDF list for necromunda armies never materialized that GW promised back in 8th. I mean surely at least Van Saar should get one since they in lore smuggle thier own weapons and gear and have a habit of offing thier Commissars when they get suspicious of the radiation leaking from thier clearly non standard power packs. I'm sorry but where was this promised? And where is this lore from?
Noserenda
Gotta admit, chatting about it earlier, a proper expansion with better thought out rules and a series of battleforce style boxes would be pretty exciting, its getting so starting a gang is most of the way to one anyway these days! :D
Petitioner's City
I do think GW should mix the sprues and sell as introductory boxes - one main gang sprue, one specialist sprue (or additional original sprue for gangs without the additional sprue), one plastic or resin weapon set, and a vehicle sprue (so 3-4 medium sprues and a small sprue/resin set). Sell with a small discount, and it would be the perfect gang introduction/start collecting X box. For example, "Start collecting Escher" with 5 Escher gangers (one of whom could be the leader), a death maiden, 2 wyld runners (who also make great little sisters), 2 rat-cats, 2 jetbikes and a weapon set would be awesome and make a great starting gang. The same for the others too. If they added in an Escher special character in resin, you'd have a cool leader model too...
