The Emperor's Children (appropriately enough) seem to alternate between amazing books and horrendous books.

Eidolon in particular tends to come across as such an imbecile that its implausible he successfully became a sergeant, much less Lord Commander, because alot of authors can't differentiate between hubris and incompetence (and there is always the odds of authors being unable to comprehend that an upper class twit can do his job well). This could either be great or be awful.

Praying Collins gives us a Wraight or Reynolds-esque Auric Hammer!

Fingers crossed!

Oh it’s about zombiEidolon. Hopefully it’s about everyone’s least favorite headless Skrillex hairdo enthusiast trying to hold the Legion together, set against Fulgrim’s increasing disinterest and instability. Could be really good if done well.

A quick reminder to anyone who wants a taste of what Collins' Eidolon is like that he already has a short story, Primacy, out, which is set between Angel Exterminatus and Path of Heaven, and which I would heartily recommend as a book showing Eidolon's competence.
