More-more Varanguard!

I'm pretty sure it's the armour on the Lady of Ruin, supports the previous engine mouth

The barbarian line is something I did, not GW

Actually Im leaning to 40k with this one. While design elements between CSM and Chaos warriors has some crossover, the AoS ones have very jagged (? correct word?) Spikes.. whereas these spikes are more remniscent of the venom crawler etc.

It also makes sense as we know new CSM stuff is coming, and its actually quite rare a release having no rumor engines at all, despite not every single kit having one. ( though it works by extension, and the KT nightlords kit is close enough a release.)

It could be part of the new bikes, it looks big enough and I do expect them to go much further with the design.

Or perhaps the bikes are not alone, but its a mini release ( character - bikes - something else.) last edition AoS had some times.

I think the general expectation currently is for the CSM Codex to release alongside the stand-alone version of the Night Lords Kill Team, and possibly another character. I'd be surprised if they were getting anything substantial.

Foilrak begs to differ!

Given the night lord kill team boxed set (vs Mandrakes) probably won't be out till Spring, we won't get the stand alone Night Lord box till summer...unless GW rush things a little bit. We've known the bikes have been coming out for a good while now as they were the only things left to release from that leak a while ago.

It's too clean for Nurgle, I think, and also too light a colour to be Tzeentch (in black and white). I think it's Nighthaunt, that face shape is consistent across their range for facemasks etc, also matches the colour for the other option maker.

Maybe it's a Warcry team? Like a poisoner team or something?

Those fingers look a little skaveny to me...Clan Pestilens perhaps (who are full nurgle I understand now with the Horned Rat being a chaos god in Slannesh's place in AoS)

Pestilens still only worship the Great Horned Rat (with some "accidental" spillover to Nurgle answering some prayers). And Slaanesh is still one of the main four, with the Horned Rat being mainly a +1 to make it five and have Skaven fit into one of the alliances.

For the Advent Engine itself, probably Nighthaunt, although a new Tzeentch daemon could be cool. And based off of yesterday's image (if it's not for AoS), some new daemon engines would be really welcome to go along with Vashtorr.

Actually I'm starting to think Nighthaunt too for the potion parts. I thought the Nurgle arm might be holding a book of potion recipes but the finger nails are long and black and the arms holding the potions don't have any visible nails at all, so Nighthaunt or Tzeentch.

Might be a little presumptuous of me but I think this new one might be for Dark Angels

Seems like the Warhammer Youtube channel has some new unlisted videos in their playlists (1-2 for 40k, 2 for Old World and 2 for AoS (and 1 for HH if there wasn't already an unlisted video there)).

Seems like we may see these revealed tomorrow? Or maybe just teased?

Hopefully they're all for tomorrow. One will definitely be Dark Angel related (assuming that they split it) which means agents of the Imperium for the other one? Though the inclusion of the chaos ones do lean towards several 40k factions being teased here.

We’re off to hang our stockings and finish all of our last-minute preparations, but you won’t be without articles to read on Warhammer Community in the gap between Christmas and New Year. Tune in tomorrow for a huge reveal, followed by something special on Boxing Day. Throughout the week, there will be teases for what’s coming in 2024, as well as the result of this year’s Miniature of the Year vote.

Sounds singular to me, but it could just be the WarCom intern getting it wrong.

Belial .. but as a character dreadnought

Tbh, I'd find that cooler than the "blingier Terminator captain n°3", narratively, and variety wise

Someone's probably already noticed this, but the Watcher holding a staff on The Lion's new model has nearly that exact "thing" on the top of the Staff.

I think he's just too young for that though. In the current timeline, he's been on the job for a handful of years, taking the job at the tail end of the 13th Black Crusade and less than a year before the great rift.

The 'lore' is that the previous grand master of the Deathwing had just perished in that Black Crusade, and Belial is newly appointed to the job.

* Put some '' around lore, as they've jumbled timelines to originally be at the Plague Wars, but then back to just a handful of years after the Cicatrix Maledictum.
