That's my free hobby time for December all used up - I got y Thunderbolt done (finishing my SA air force) and the last couple of IF infantry bases and the Kratos from my plodding along, but as expecting didn't have the useful focus time to push through with all the trim needed for the baneblades.

It is still a nice golden boy. Anyway, I understand your statement. I have 10 guns to finish in order to complete a kabalite squad started in Nov and I do not even have put a single splash of paint... Year ends are always so busy...

I haven’t looked at this thread in a while, since mid November I think. November Secret Santa mini was finished and posted in time, picture to come.

@Dwango, Intersting Thanatar conversion, looking forward to seeing it done.

 

 

For December, given how much month has already past, I think I am only going to do one mini, but it will hopefully be a fun one.  Pridbor ‘Por’ The Ogryn is going to be my player character in an Only War game down in the RPG Nook that @Viking Slade will be running.

 

 

 

 

As it nearly the end of the year I should also take stock of my Plodding Along vow. I think it is a partial successes, but not complete. I had vowed to build and paint 1,000p for my Easterling themed Guard army.  I have defiantly build well over 1,000p, and when borrowing a few Ogryns/Bullgryns from a previous project have even played 2,000p games with the army.

Alas in terms of painting this year I managed 1 Hydra, 10 Rough Rider, 2 field ordnance batteries and 15 or so guardsmen, maybe 400 points ish...  Maybe the new Krieg stuff coming next year will inspire some additional conversions and painting.

I liked working on it. In hindsight, I'd magnetise the main guns left and right, to clip over the mount.

I just had absolutely no motivation to work on my vow of five wraithblades this month, and the latter half of the month has just been extremely busy. Even if I knuckle down, there's just no way to finish them before the new year (especially with my work schedule being what it is lately...).
 

This marks the first time in the three years that I've been doing this I've shelved vowed minis, meaning that I will also be failing 12MoH 2024. I feel the shame. 
 

I did paint a large-ish (about 4" tall) 3d printed gnome figure for my mother's Christmas present this year, so at least I painted something, but I forgot to take a picture before wrapping it.
