What do you think - does it looks playable on the battlefield, or should I make some changes? The bigger Tac Squads would need some apothecary support, but I could also run them as 10 strong and in Rhinos. Unfortunately I didn't have any practical experience with the game, but now I'm firmly heading to my first battle. ++ 1. Agramar_The_Luna_Wolf Posted February 1 Share Posted February 1 I think Horus is too much for a 3K list. 600 pts is 1/5 of the total, and is just one miniature (but what a miniature!). Maybe you need to add some more Troops and/or aad some Comptentor dread(s). In the other hand,I'm glad to see another list of SoH with TLM rite of war. I'm not alone!! I'm totally agree with the selection of units. Maybe change some weapons or options, but is just a mix of personal tastes and miniatures you have. I also have some Veterans with plasma guns and a Rhino. Adding a Contemptor could be also an option. I don't want to run too many of them. I'm also considering adding some punch, like Chain Bayonets or extra CCW to the bigger blobs because of theme and maybe effectiveness. I think it's a fine list to use, but not one that you'd want to be a 3k and done use it as is every game because of how skew/dependent on Horus it is. With the extra units you've mentioned and maybe Abaddon perhaps as a 'downgrade' on Horus as an optional list it should be fine. Maybe I'll try other options but are personal tastes. Just think to add a MoS. Remember that you have lot of points in reserves and it would be awesome to launch them in the proper place and moment.
