Only thing that bothers me is that Abaddon is likely to look tiny besides the upscaled characters.

I've been thinking about that too. The model already looks a little odd.

My hypothetical plan would be to convert up wither the 40k version or the Horus the Warmaster model. He was supposed to be a big boy.

Not sure why people are upset about another SoH model - GW told us he was coming.

The model doesn't really do much for me but probably because I wanted to see Little Horus first.

The model is really nice, the rules seem way better than what he had in the pdf, and it makes sense to be coming out with meduson and completing a (hopefully) full SoH character release.

But understanding the release cycle doesn't make it less frustrating. Bunch of legions have no character models and only have PDF rules; the decision to go all in on an established legion for the first two years is still annoying. Even more annoying is the rules glow up for Marr after how the exemplary battle units got left in the gutter.

Still, model is very very nice.

Skimask summed up my thoughts. It's a brilliant model, and I'm really excited for Horus Aximand, but even as a Sons of Horus fan and player since the first days of 1.0 I really wish their priorities were different. Very interested to see how Meduson's model turns out.

I like to view my glass half full here in that there's more characters than the last campaign book, and half of them do cover some of what needed it with Shadrak Meduson and Endryd Haar. So overall, as far as getting something for the Legions that needed it, this will have impacted that.

I think Tybalt Marr is probably the most fluffy SoH character in the game to play with. After Isstvan he was mostly hunting loyalists in non-stop off screen battles all over the galaxy until the very end at Terra, unlike other more famous SoH that were usually around Horus for most of the war.
