01RTB01
Got a box from my local store. Should've grabbed two; they had stock of 22 and they were all gone within an hour. Do you need 2? Is there enough savings on the units and dread to bother? Redcomet
Do you need 2? Is there enough savings on the units and dread to bother? Need? Probably not. But more marines is better than less marines 01RTB01 and Rhavien 2 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/382499-blood-angel-boxset/page/29/#findComment-6059571 Share on other sites
Halandaar
Do you need 2? Is there enough savings on the units and dread to bother? In GBP terms you already save £19 buying the box vs just buying the Brutalis and the Infantry units at RRP, so if you happen to want duplicates of those exact units then yeah, it's worth ordering a second box. The Codex, Datacards, Astorath, Lemartes and the four upgrade frames are all free on top of that, and obviously you can sell anything you don't want duplicates of. From the look of eBay listings you could probably make half the price of the second box back just by selling the characters and the book. At that point, an extra 20 Assault Intercessors and a Brutalis for a total outlay of about £75 looks like a hell of a bargain. INKS, Cenobite Terminator and Karhedron 1 2 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/382499-blood-angel-boxset/page/29/#findComment-6059573 Share on other sites
INKS
I couldn’t make up my mind if I wanted it or not. Landed on I did, and it was sold out Money saved for other stuff then not surprised it sold out, they are popular and GW seems to under produce a lot any more. Casual Heresy
I am surprised it's still available on the GW site. Does make my dash to grab two at 9:59 on Saturday an uneccessary amount of self imposed stress. I suspect that GW is holding back more stock for themselves these days, which will sadly mean indies are getting fewer copies. But at the very least, copies are still out there so anyone who wants one has a fair chance. Do you need 2? Is there enough savings on the units and dread to bother? I think it's a great box for both starting a new BA army or just adding to your existing one. In my case I haven't done any BA in over ten years, and that was an all terminator Archangels force. So between two boxes that's all the infantry I want as a core to my new collection, spares of the two characters for kitbashing my own fancy HQ units and all the sculpted shoulder pads I'll need for all the units I want to do, and may ever want to do. ZeroWolf
Several of the cheaper third party sites I use have sold out now which makes sense as I'd imagine it being a combination of lack of stock and lower prices.
