Inceptors attacks and chapter master CP rules question.

Hi All,

           2 quick questions.

 

A. How many attacks do inceptors get per model? Is it 3 & 2 with the bolter/ plasma load out or 6 & 4?

 

B. Second question; do chapter masters generate extra co in 10th?

• It's the first option as the Datasheet doesn't say they are equipped with two weapons. 
• I assume you mean CP? Anything like that will be stated on the Datasheet and generated as per the mission rules.

3 Shots per Inceptor on the Assault Bolters, 2 shots per inceptor on the Plasma Exterminators.  A 3 man squad will shoot 9 Assault Bolter shots per round of shooting, and 6 Plasma shots.

They are modeled with two guns, so you'd think that would mean each gun shoots that stuff, but the actual data entry for the guns on the datasheet combine both hands into a single weapon profile.  You can confirm this in the "Wargear Options" section, which says you replace "Assault bolters" with "1 Plasma Exterminators".  The key is the S at the end of both weapon names; it represents both hands of weapons at once.

 

Second question; No.  There is currently no way to make a Chapter Master that isn't a bespoke named Chapter Master (Unless Crusade has some way of doing so, but my group hasn't gone that direction yet so I haven't spent much time looking into it), some of whom do have a CP generation Ability (Azrael in particular is the competitive meta darling for this role, but so does Marneus Calgar).
