No worries! I still don't really understand what Haga is in that context, except that it isn't Black Lotus, but I guess I won't worry about it? The extra g makes all the difference 

 

On a slightly related note, how daft is it that I hadn't connected the name of Stygia the Executioners homeworld with the place in Conan?

So if I don’t want to have all the starting gear downgraded I need to sacrifice one item. Can this be the  ‘Dataslate with annotated version of Tactica Imperialis’ or does it need to be something more valuable?

Technically, yes, you could indeed sacrifice the Dataslate.

You keep the Dataslate without any further need to downgrade your equipment, or surrender an alternative item. (Basically, you keep all your stuff in the condition you got it).

Tarh look at the dataslate with caution, it just rematerialised, unmarked as if new. The shattered smouldering remains no longer scattered around the makeshift. Had the gods accepted this sacrifice of the captured tome or rejected it because it was by the enemy for its soldiers and not a worthy offering. He did not know. Using some spare cloth he had won of one of the other prisoners a few days ago he carefully wrapped the dataslate. Before he left he dismantled the shrine, it would not do to let the guards or even those prisoners that followed the corpse god find it. He would raise another when it was time.

No, no, I knew the Thulsa one, and knew that the Chapter is basically Conan-in-space... it's just that makes it even more daft that I missed the Stygia link

Just want to make this very clear: You're in the driving seat, your handlers and associates are merely to help you plan (not for retirement, though. This isn't that kind of RPG, mate).

 

Further to this, again, please make sure your Chargen sheets are built. If they're not, then I will be asking you to step down from play. If you have built your sheet, but I can't see it you need to share it with me.

I mentioned this in passing in an earlier post but I don’t think I got a clear answer. I have two more Common Lore choices to make. Given Tarh’s background ‘Imperial Creed’ makes little sense, but a Chaos equivalent that covers the same areas of chaos faith and such would make sense.  As a custom skill (even if I expect it to be of little relevance) GM approval?

What is the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow?

On page 39, in table 1-4, with an AB of 4 should the Run be 21 as listed or 24 as per the patter on run being double charge number as seen for all other AB values?

 

Other than that I think my Character sheet is good, have some XP to spend but will save it for now.
