  1. ++ BLACK CRUSADE RPG CAMPAIGN ++ ++ THE BLACKEST HEART ++ 'The Imperium suffers the painful throes of many deaths, and I have planned them all as repayment.' - Huron Blackheart. (CHARACTER/DATASLATE THREAD) DRAMATIS PERSONAE: Hagga Rykaz, 'The Heart Eater' - Lysimachus Xerxes - A.T. Crux'as 'The Smiler' - Lord_Ikka Tarh Teshub - Trokair Ukalegon Moros 'The Twice Lived' - Necronaut Kraggan - Machine God PERSONAE CALAMITUS: Red Corsair Agents ++ CONDITIONS OF PLAY ++ CAMPAIGN RULES: Party Composition: No Party splitting. Either you do it together, or not at all. Players may choose from either Mortal or Space Marine Archetypes. Player Characters and Game Attendance (AUTOPILOTING): Players have to deal with real life, I get that. People who are busy will no be penalised, but I can't autopilot for long periods of time, since I have a lot to do on my own account. Therefore, if a Player enters a Compact, (goes on a mission etc) and cannot attend for whatever reason, the character will be deemed to be present, but otherwise unavailable, occupied, or what-have-you. They will take no part in the combats, either dealing or taking damage, and will to all intents and purposes be in the GM Bag Of Infinite Holding. Note that I will massage the numbers and quality of the enemy to compensate, but I will not run your Character. I simply have too much to do. Infamy Rating, and Security Threat: Players will have an Infamy Threshold of 85 for this Campaign. Alignment: Gear: Allies and Resources: ADVERSARIES: + [PLAYERS MAY NOW POST] +
  2. I've been jawing things over with @Necronaut for a while about how to keep a BC game cohesive so it doesn't implode, and still provide a Sandbox for people to frolic around in. I proposed taking over the Vulgar Display game, but I thought too much water had passed, and I'm a sucker for Session Zero build-ups. Back in the day, I ran a game called Beneath a Hateful Sky, which was a half-baked precursor to the excellent and successful To Plunder The Stars, by our own @Lysimachus and was a Deathwatch game set on the Secessionist side of the Badab War. I also tried another similarly themed, but pure BC Ruleset with Magellan's Devils. Seems I just can't get away from Uncle Huron... This time, with a hardened cadre of Players, I thought I could make another go of it. The Dastardly Plan: So, I wanted to float a few proposals. One is that I would prefer a homogenous Party. Either all Mortals or all Marines, but basically we blend the theme of the BC Intro game Broken Chains as the part gen and start you off all in the Big House. You could either start as mortals and get implanted, or could start as neophytes or recently elevated neophytes (up to you) of a Renegade Chapter. Huron does not get on well with legions, so no Legions builds, nothing advanced. It's BC Core ALL the way. You pick your Archetype and Class, and then start with a loincloth and a tin whistle, if you're lucky. Alternatively, you may all join from mortals into a legion who have raided the prison planet - but it's ONE legion. BC Core applies. You're not vets of this legion, you're ne'er-do-well's in the front line holding a sharp stick and a pair of tin underpants (where on your person you wish to wear them, is your choice, and we will not judge). No crazy stuff with millions of rules, no robots with cigar lighters for eyes, no instant armpit tentacles. On the Party, no splitting. Either you do it together, or not at all. Then you're appointed to a Red Corsair (or a Legionary) 'Advisor...' and sent to destabilise a region in your own, rather beaten up and run-down barge. An Imperial region (which can be post-Cicatrix, if you desire). Infamy Rating, and Security Threat: Infamy works as the book with a few extra bells and whistles. Each Infamy Point a PC possesses will result in a corresponding Imperial Threat Rating, so as your Infamy scales up, your enemies will scale up, but that's not all. Each zone of the operational area (AO) will have it's own Security Rating, which will be fixed. Now, all that means is that your Threat rating + Security Rating means Quality and Quantity of opposition, or the forces already established therein. The Imperial Defence plan is a designed as a constricting net of steel, formed into concentric rings, each collapsing onto the disturbance in order of economy of force. You can see this in the Battle for Armageddon. Example: Moroc is a Chaos Space Marine. He has a ball and and 2 Infamy Points. The ball is red, and very bouncy! See Moroc run and play! Unfortunately, Moroc has been kicking this ball against a wall, and has invoked the wrath of Old Man Jenkins, who is a Justice of the Peace, and saw Moroc widdle on his prize water-lilies last week. His threat rating of 2 means (for example) Moroc will be looking a herd of PDF troops in a Level 2 Security Zone, but because he is a complete asshat, he's crossed the border into a Level 3 Zone, and now he's looking at a couple of squads of Arbites. He's beats them up, and gains another Infamy Point, so now he's Threat Rating 3, and so if he breaks Jenkins' window, the Arbites are going to bring a Rhino, and support troops, possibly with a Sororitas, and now he's dead. Poor Moroc. Missions will be 'Compacts' as described in the book - from small ones like a supply raid on a fuel dump, to large ones (required) on the Precinct House. The bigger the Compact, the more your Infamy goes up, and therefore...poor Moroc. You will be required to scout for, and establish, hideouts in your chosen Operation Zone. Every time you undertake a mission, there is a chance Imperial Intelligence will get wind of your hole (in the ground, you Slaneeshi perv), and go and kick over the rocks. This could mean losing your assets. Undertaking a big mission will reduce these chances, all the way down to zero. Let me be clear: if you keep low-balling to dodge the claws of retribution, and avoiding high-level missions to actively combat your persecution, you will eventually be found, and they will kill you off, Infamy or no. The Imperium is looking for you - always. Alignment: The alignment system is, to me, pish. I hate it, and I think it's one of the weaker aspects of the ruleset - albeit I know what they were doing and where they were going. Now, unfortunately, pulling the ruleset apart is a no-go, unless I start a gofundme for Imperium Maledictum, and we can try that instead, but I digress. Alignment will rely on what you do, not what you pick - however - and I stress this, it will still count. It will be assumed that your choices show the predilection your PC has for which way they are going to fall. Now, if you wish to follow the path of Khorne (and his big red ball), then you can do things dedicated to him, but, if your Alignment is contrary, then you're going to get the attention you deserve, uh, of someone else. Gear: You get jack and nowt, and jack already left town with the best stuff. If your Party chooses to be Marines, you will be equipped with Legion Power Armour. However, this is not without caveats. You will roll for a random number of pieces of different armour marks. Deathwatch Rites of Battle Histories will not and do not apply. Armour customisation will be GM moderated, since, quite frankly, some of the options are garbage. Every armour piece will require a D10 roll to see how awful it actually is. On a 7+, the armour piece is knackered, and provides 1 AP lower than standard. Weaponry is the same. It's busted. You want better stuff, you'll have to beg, borrow or steal it. Everything beyond starting Acquisition rolls is one bracket higher than normal. Further, you have a choice of either: One of your Starting Weapons or Items is gone. The rest is unaffected. All of your staring Weapons or Items downgrade (you may pick) by one penalty (cursed metal etc). The PC's will have full access to as much intelligence about the AO and Imperial Ops as your Harrowmaster can muster. If you want more, you'll have to get it in a raid. You may not start with a Minion. Allies and Resources: There will be people who want to defect to the side of tentacles and blood. These informers can provide intelligence on targets for raiding, personnel capture, or loot. They won't repeat. As your influence and power grows, so will your allies. You will be able to requisition (Infamy) vehicles, support squads, artillery, air power and comms support. All these can be lost if the Imperium manages a reversal. The Four Kings and the Crown: To prevent a reversal, and to ease the grip of the Imperium on your throats, you must defeat the four rulers of the sector who govern over each of it's main arms, such as the Fabricator Maximal, the Sector Bishop of the Adeptus Ministorum, the Planetary Defence Commandant, and the Administratum General. Above them, sits the System Overlord, and Lord Commander Sector Imperialis. These five beings cannot be attacked directly. It is impossible, and any attempt to assault their power will result in instant failure. Each one of these august Imperial lackeys has a number of things which may topple them, removal of key commanders, exposure of dirty secrets, inability to meet quotas, that kind of thing. The Adeptus Arbites and the mighty Adeptus Astartes are independent actors, and thus, incorruptible. This is the proposal and my general thoughts on the layout of how this game will operate. Nothing is set in stone, but I won't be wavering too far off these tenets. Feel free to have at it below - do note that Silent Architect is in hiatus, and I need to leave that one on the shelf for now, as I've lost my way with it a little bit, so it will be either this, or Architect I will be running for the foreseeable future. Thanks for looking.
  3. + THE RPG NOOK, IN ASSOCIATION WITH THE CABAL OF DEAD INK, PRESENTS + + A BLACK CRUSADE RPG ADVENTURE + ++ THE BLACKEST HEART ++ 'From the Maelstrom's deepest pit, I do spit at thee! Should my chest be fit with cannon, Wouldst I fire both my Hearts upon it! My vengeance knows not the cold of mercy, Nor does it shrink with terror in the dark, for wherever you should hide my due, Even buried in your in your souls, e'er will I rake for it...until the stars burn out.' - Lugft Huron, The Blackheart, Tyrant of Badab, Master of The Maelstrom. +++++ PROLOGUE: Assault on CARTHAGE XIII: When the siren begins, it is a klaxon heard by all as it screams a shrill warning across the surface, skies and subterranean vaults of the planet. Purpose-built as a wilderness of violence and wickedness, decorated with oases of Imperial sanity, power and civility built deep into bedrock, shudders. This is not the ruckus of expected supply drops; or the harsh tocsin of a prisoner transfer, but something altogether more alarming still. Weapons emplacements pan and traverse across the prison yards, the gears of a machine grinding - a mighty shrugging of the Imperial pinions contracting. + PENITENTS, REMAIN CALM, FOR SALVATION IS AT HAND. THE EMPEROR’S MERCY HAS BEEN GRANTED TO ALL. AVE IMPERATOR. + A serene, controlled statement, given in a firm, calm voice. In juxtaposition, it merely stirs the populace into paroxysms of glee and terror, depending on the severity of heresy in their soul, their expectation of punishment or release a heady mix of personal poison. It is an announcement never made before on this scale. The inmates of this network of dungeons know the voice, for it is the judgement of those on high, the Word of the Master of Mankind himself. It is said by Judges, by Imperial Soldiers, by Commissars, by the Guildmasters of the Forges and Workhouses. By Executioners. Normally, death is rooted to a sector or block, where the culling of the wicked sinners is enacted through neutron bombardment, their belongings, cybernetics and chattels all used for the next raft of prisoners, or sent off-world to pay the debts of the incarcerated. ++ PENITENTS IN BLOCKS A, B, C, D, SHALL RECEIVE THE EMPEROR’S WILL ++ The guilty and innocent shriek in howling wails as the Penitentiary rouses for a mass slaughter, but the wise amongst the old hands, the few lowly trustees, that something else is wrong. There is threat not just from within the walls, and the souls dwelling there, but from without. Some of the inmates go berserk. They run at the walls, the gates in a mass panic, attempting to overwhelm the security, to breakout via a press of flesh and tide of blood. The throaty roar of emplaced weapons cut them down, exploding bolt rounds tossing charred gobbets of flesh in minced, bloody confetti. The grisly perfume of burned meat clogs throats and nostrils, even as the thunder of giant hammers resonates on the walls outside, causing huge blocks of masonry – plascrete and rockrete, painted dark with grime and blood over the pocked surface – to spall onto the huddled, broken masses beneath, crushing many and ending their cries for mercy, for forgiveness or curses brooking damnation to end with a brutal, gavel thump of finality. In the open segments of the prison, Perdita squads of the Adeptus Arbites swing into action, shotguns bellow, flamers cough in throaty swathes as many of the prisoners outside the Purgation Zone are cut down or boiled alive in blessed promethium. In the skies above, glimpses can be seen of Imperial Lightnings duelling with angular blades zipping around the skies. Bulk landers crash hard into the prison walls, making breaches in the low-level security zones. A guard tower crumples, and a neutron array fires prematurely, obliterating all living within its deadly caress and scope, before dying a heartbeat, and firing again. The sentries within are flung against the armaglas with such force, they lie broken and staring from the collapsed Babellian* overwatch, now brought low. Miraculously spared by the momentary pogrom, an old man, wearing nought but tattered rags, exposes himself obscenely to the crashed tower and Prison Judges therein, cackling at their fate, his tattoos of the Eightfold marking him as a true believer. He tears the mouldering garment free, and capers in wanton abandon. ‘Hahaha! Take that you fu-’ The tower explodes, tearing a crater in the pit of the prison earth, slaying friend and plucky, rude foe alike, punching great runnels in the ground and plascrete. It is then, and only then, when the squalid prison carcass is broken open for the straggly innards to be devoured, that giant shapes punch through the choking dust to feast. Dark figures cleave through the miasma of floating silt, in a cacophony of thunder - explosions billowing amber in the murk - and the skirl of whirring, chainsword teeth. Black and red, a melange of gold and steel, titans come with guns and blades. Almost as one, the hordes of darkness unleash, the Black Hand, the Ravaged Claw of Badab tears at the walls, raking out the charnel pit in a long harrow of screams and pleading, eager for fresh meat and raw victims to clutch to his cause. +++++ + [ AVE REGNIS CREUI ] +
  4. Hey gang, I understand things are hectic for many of us currently, and Plunder EP III will be kicking off on 2 April, but I thought I would start this discussion to see if anyone would be interested in a spot of Black Crusade? I have a few campaign ideas I'm trying to sort out currently from my (extremely disorganized) collection of notes and character ideas, and I would be happy to accommodate either an all-human, all-Astartes or mixed group of 4-5 (maybe even up to 6?) players. The campaign would be set in the Screaming Vortex (the base Black Crusade setting), and would be set pre-Great Rift/WH40K End Times (for those who care). My plan currently is to mostly follow the BC ruleset, perhaps with a few tweaks here or there, and my intent would be for this to be pretty grimy and gritty a la WHFRP or Zweihander. The campaign itself should be a hopefully enjoyable romp across the Vortex, with a good mix of combat, RP, dungeon delving and all manner of HERESY. Please drop a reply here if you think you might be interested, and what your campaign preference would be with regard to character or party make-up. Recruitment will be a first-come-first-served affair, but I will open a separate thread for such matters with instructions at a later time once we have an idea of the general interest level, and once I figure out exactly what sort of meat-grinder I want to throw you scoundrels into. For the Dark Gods! Cheers, Necronaut
  5. I've been running a Black Crusade campaign for the past few months and I have some points for discussion. What do you find best to throw against your heretics? For simplicity, I've had them choose an all marine warband. At the moment they rarely square off against other marines (unless they spark the confrontation with other chaos marines) I've mainly been throwing storm trooper level enemies at them armed with hellguns, the occasional "big thing" in the form of dreadnoughts and an occasional brutal boss fight. I like to give the players as much flexibility as possible, so most of the hordes they've fought against, they've got the drop on and have massacred and broken. What's your preferred "standard enemy" to hit them with? I also run a gladiator pit which the players are storming through at the moment, do you guys have any tips for making these 1 on 1 bouts (NPC vs PC) more excitng and drawn out? I'm finding I need to restrict the usage of specialist weapons as well, for the mission they're on at the moment, they have access to a meltagun and a lascannon, which is making a mockery of most heavy things I'm hitting them with, what balance (if any) have you found between the weapons they have and the heavy stuff you're hitting them with? Thanks in advance!
  6. Due to the amazing level of interest in playing WH40k rpg games online, our very own Qai has started a forum to help us gather, share stories and of course organise games. Here is the link - http://www.w40krpg.com/ its currently under construction but will soon be the home of the w40kRPG online gaming club and community. We also have a twitter account - EmperorsImmortals@w40krpg, and will post using the hashtag #w40kRPG. It will be used to announce games scheduals and special events, so make sure to subscribe!. SAVED for posterity; Ive been chasing a game of Black Crusade on line for a while now, and most games either close shortly after starting or finished about a million years ago. Im going to learn how to GM a game, ill try to host it in about 2 weeks and using VASSAL or Roll20 (since i cant get MapTools to work anymore o0 ) its a steep laerning curve so im posting this now to gauge interest. Im in Australia, so if board postings are easier, ill figure that out. Im basically asking anyone interested, weather seasoned vet or relative newcomer, to just post there interest, basic motivation for there character and what theyd like to see in the game. All I ask is that you are familiar with the core mechanics and your chosen archetype. Im looking for around 3-5 players. Itll be the Broken Chains free mission so its available to download, but ill post links for many resources later on, so check back in this topic. Ill also msg anybody whos posted in OG for a BC game in the last few months. Hoping to get a fair bit of interest, as Id like to do this pretty regularly and expand into Death Watch etc, so give it a think and welcome aboard!!!!
  7. So recently I have felt the urge the run a Black Crusade game again! Past experience running this system has been very good, though things tended to fall through due to life and other commitments... ANYWAYS, I'd be looking to run sessions during the week, GMT evening times. On average, a game session would last four hours (not including the invariable chatter and tangents), and I would happily accept newbies into the group. I am looking to run this game using a combination of Skype and Roll20. Both offer free accounts, and that is all that would be required, due to playing via voice chat.
  8. 'Some are born expecting a crown to be placed upon their heads. Others are born knowing that it must be seized.' -Unattributed quote of Frankisch Soldier turned Emperor, Terra 1804 'LUPERCAL! LUPERCAL! LUPERCAL!' he roars when awoken. He was felled upon the Vengeful Spirit to the blades of the False Emperor's Custodes. My brother had died before Horus was laid low. I pity and envy him, he still does not know that we had failed at Terra.
  9. Iron Warriors 5th Grand Company This is where we hold them! This is where we fight! This is where they DIE!!!!!!!!!! VIXI: "I have lived" - "I have survived" Hi everyone So, a few week ago photobucket chosen to change there terms with out any advance notice. The result of this was, if member wish to keep using photobucket to post on forums, blogs, ebay, etc.... then they where been ask to take the plus 500 & that you had to pay $399.99. So sadly this had a big impact of my last Iron Warrior army log, with over 50 pagies worth of post & updates. Because of this, I'm now starting a brand new army log today, but will link the last one if there any information that is needed. You can find the last army log here, just the image are all down due photobucket. Iron Warriors 5th Grand Company re-born army log http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/topic/242006-iron-warriors-5th-grand-company-re-born-army-log/ You can also find my facebook page here, it just a hobby page & when I got to say events allow me show a few more photos Iron-Daemon Forge https://www.facebook.com/Iron-Daemon-Forge-180193015748679/ So onto the wordy bit, as Iron Warriors are my main force, they mean a lot to me. Just with this been first page & though be a nice intro. Collecting I've been collecting Chaos Space Marines for over 20 years now. The reason today are the same when I started the hobby in 1996. Cool models, background, way they game & most of all converting models. Converting models has always been the main part of the hobby. I like the challenge & making models "my" own. Also add, it because of White Dwarf 202 with John Blanche art work that really got me wanting to collect Chaos Marines. When I started the hobby 1996, I started near the end of September & I think this was the last month of the Chaos release during 2nd ed 40k. This art work, along with the 2nd ed codex Chaos in general have been a big source of inspiration over these years as well when ever I'm looking for ideas. Here my first ever conversion - Lord for my Black Legion force which was very Khorne heavy There been a lot that help toward idea as well. From a lot of really cool army logs on Bolter & Chainsword, from Dan the Daemon, Brother Heinrich, Brother Nihm, Midnight Runner, Bio, just to name a few. Then a lot of the Black Library novels, Storm of Iron which is the most go to novel for all Iron Warriors hobbist. The Bloodquest comic as well about group of exile Blood Angels go to the Eye of Terror & battle on Daemonic planet, just the art work & look of Chaos. Iron Warriors This is my 6th Iron Warriors force. When I started the topic on this, it was to mark 10 year of collecting & I wanted to start a new force. Part of this was to move away from the old inks & just way my painting was, as well as lot of other reason. Also because I like going to a lot of different events. Pretty much I started collect Iron Warriors back in November 17th 2001, with Warsmith Abhorred Riddick been the first model. I started the Iron Warriors for a lot of different reason. With the Index Astartis article from the White Dwarf, as Iron Warriors just got there a few month before I started collect the IV Legion, give background, shown great art work & given some rules to help theme the force. Also I find they suit a lot of my own traits, with me having a forum of autism. Also history wise, siege & trench warfare one of my favorited & days off often go to few castle, there three with in 10 min train/drive from my home. One of my friends converted up some really nice Obliterators for his Thasound Son army, before we had the current models we have today. Also gaming wise Obliterators where complete diffrent from the way they are today & your able to take up to 6 in a single unit. But I've been collecting this version, Mk6 of my Iron Warriors since 2011. The aim, as well as adding cool new models. Was to build update version of past models & character, to carry on there glory & history in future games. A few exsample is one of my main HQ beside Warsmith Abhorred Riddick, is Lord Narach Delau - He was once a Champion as part of my Warsmith bodyguard (when we use to be able to take unit chosen as body guard) & because of how well he'd done in games, during codex 3.5 he was rise to rank of Lieutenant, a lower wound HQ chose & took part in the Medusa V campaign & then brought back to this version in 2012, just with Daemon Prince been a bit more costly in points. Lord Narach Delau, was recently give the Siege Breaker Mace relic when Traitor Legion supplement was release last year. All the models in my Iron Warriors force are converted & all have a theme/sub theme to help tell there story. Having a narrative & theme for the armies I collect are very important to me. I've also had my Iron Warriors force feature in the White Dwarf as part of Army of the Month article - White Dwarf August 2013. Really grateful for the help & support from the White Dwarf team & the great care they'd taken with my Iron Warriors. You can not guess how happy I was for this to happen & still a great highlight for me. Trophies Having a narrative for my armies is really important to me. One of the thing I've been doing with this Iron Warriors force is trophies. Ever trophy you see on my models are base on someone I've game against over the years of collect Iron Warriors in general. So any games that have been really great, I want to rememeber them & this is a great way to do it. It also nice to wind up a few friends from time to time, as there a friend who collect Ultramarine who always get mad when they see a Ultramarine trophy. Just this is important to me & really help further make this my army. Events When I started my Iron Warriors back in 2001, it was for my first ever event - Conflict Scotland & what has gotten me to attend event ever since then. For me I like going to a lot of different events. It ether a single day or weekend of gaming, as I don't get to game as often as I'd like to (use to be 15 games per week 2005). It not just that, but for me it really important & main part for me seen all the different armies, the painting & conversion people put into there own collection. Though I will say, I've not gone to as many event as I'd like to over the past few years. This is just due to, I don't care about the win, loss or draw, I'm just there to get those games. But I dislike gaming against Win that all cost player & those who goal are to wipe the oppent in 20 min, deathstar list was one of the main thing putting me off last year. I dislike been told to drop my Iron Warriors because Chaos maybe not the top thing & instead go for Tau or Eldar (anyone know me, know both armies are not for me), I just don't like that mentality. Like wise I had no interest in the ETC or ITC scene, it just not how I wish to enjoy the gaming side of the hobby. I prefer going to Warhammer World events like Throne of Skulls, there really great. Everyone just take the list, units & models they like. End of the day it a great weekend & it in the best gaming venue I've been to, with Warhammer World been the great place for the Games Workshop hobby & a place everyone should try get to. I go to a few local gaming club for there tournament, again just like minded people & great to game against. One of my hardest fought games was during Throne of Skulls Nov 2012, against Space Wolves. By turn 4 to turn 7, we ended up with just three models each. With a lot of epic moment, like my Champion Bronn Tal slay a Wolf Priest in a challenge, turn into a Daemon Prince.......only be slay in return by a Space Wolf Lord. Since then, when I made a Power Axe version of Bronn Tal, he had a Space Wolf trophy to mark that great game. As said I originally started my first Iron Warriors force for Conflict Scotland. While the Mk6, this version was been built & getting ready for there first return with Throne of Skulls April 2012. Since then they've went onto a lot of other event, fought a lot great games. One of the recently once was the Boralis Schism campaign weekend that Warhammer World, base after Cadia Fall from the Gathering Storm narrative. I still don't believe in the Imperial propaganda & that Chaos won the campaign in the name of the gods It was a great weekend, with a lot of new trophies to add onto future models. I'm now looking forward getting my Iron Warriors ready for going back down to Nottingham. For Throne of Skulls Dark Imperium in September. Throne of Skulls events are really great & I'm always going to high suggest them, as said there held that Warhammer World. Future When I collect armies, I keep adding onto them, keep adding models I think look cool. So with the Iron Warriors, dispite having over 300 models between my Iron Warriors, Dark Mechanicus, Chaos Knights & Chaos Guards. There also more to add. This topic not only going to cover my Iron Warriors. But I'm going to look into other Chaos faction. Right now I've just started my Nurgle Marines force, thanks to the new Dark Imperium box game. As said it due to the models looking really cool. But it not going to stop there. Right now the Black Crusade project going to be Iron Warriors (Main), Inc: Dark mechanicus, Chaos Guards & Chaos Knights. World Eater/Daemonkin. Theme wise, there old allies to my Iron Warriors. Fought along side each other during the Great Crusade, Horus Heresy, Legion Wars, the Long War. There trusted as far as a Iron Warrior can trust in someone. So idea is that they are currently understrength after taken part in a Blood Crusade on Angelus Prime (Warhammer World biggest display). This will tie in with the Fate of Konor campaign that happen soon Black Legion. I've been wanting to bring back my old Black Legion warband as well, in a all updated version. Theme there a warband sent by Abaddon to make sure mission are done in his name. There not trusted that all. Nurgle. Main part Warband will be Death Guards, but included a few other unit in different warbands. There meant to be on a crusade in Nurgle name, sign shown that they need to be here. Red Corsair. I've not really seen many Red Corsair armies & there a lot of really cool thing you can do. There under Huron order that no one out side them know. It going to be great, convert up fallen Space Marines & base them on a few of my friends Marine armies. Night Lords. ADB Novels pretty much. Background, there just here to cause terror, know that there will be a great fight. Fallen Angels. I use to have Fallen force & really want to get them on the go again. Also Cypher always been my favorited Character. Thousand Sons. After painting a force for my friend. There great models. I'm thinking pick up my first box this Saturday as it seem like it maybe a little while until we see the multi part Death Guards models. I think gaming wise there going to be a power level force. I'm just waiting for new Chaos Marines to get release before some of these start. Like the World Eater. Here how the Iron Warriors are looking, this photo was taken Oct last year. Then the Warhammer World display that help a lot with idea toward my Iron Warriors over the past two years So that it for now. Should hopeful have my first update for this log tomorrow with my new Nurgle force. I think that the bottom on my post, I'll try put the Legion down, sort like Key words help if people are wanting to search.
  10. I see there are a couple games going (or just getting going, as the case may be), but is anyone interested in a game of something? At this point I could go for any of FFG's games. What about you?
