Whilst the Souring starts as the Traitors leave Terra i think the dangling threads of the siege could do with typing up as part of the siege series, some of these shorts might even run concurrently or prior to end and the death, especially as that was a whole cop out in time :P

I can't imagine this'll crop up on WarCom via Heresy Thursday, which they haven't announced the return of yet.

If its a real thing, I’d imagine GW are more interested in tracing the leak than rushing to print to acknowledge its existence.

I really hope this is true. There unresolved plots and missing characters they could draw on. 

 

Plus I feel there is scope to see so much more. I would have loved to see some White Scars fighting Emperors Children to protect civlians. Or to see a unit of imperial army cut off an fighting against other human units elsewhere in the planet. Some isolated location where they're unaware of what else is going and just holding out for as long as they can.

boy oh boy those book are beautiful. wish I had collected all of them from the start but I was busy with other life things back then. getting them now is much harder and very expensive. but. man they are nice

The scouring was obviously coming eventually, they've put huge work into the horus heresy and can't just let it end and lose that money source.

Honestly: :cuss: yes. I hope they are going to treat Horus Heresy and Siege of Terra like they did the old 40k universe: A setting to tell stories in now the "plotline" has been done.

I wonder if this means it’s a selection of shorts set during the Siege then? Rather than Scouring. Maybe based on various storylines that weren’t finished or pursued in the main Siege books.

With the changes they’ve made to how the Siege was lifted, it’s very possible that the Scouring won’t start until later than originally described.

This is a thread about an as-yet unannounced and unreleased anthology that takes place after the Siege of Terra, and was spotted in the wild somewhere, somehow. 
The post-Siege era is usually referred to as the Scouring.
