I'm glad to see ADB again - I know he's had some fairly significant health issues (mentioned on his blog) that've prevented him from writing for a while (hence the hiatus on the Black Legion series and the second Spear of the Emperor novel). Hopefully a sign he's bouncing back and doing well. :)

He's GW's head of narrative now, according to his LinkedIn, which probably also gets in the way of writing while giving a safe, stable and well paying employer

He's been in position since October 2022.

Earlier that year there had been the 40k head writer position advertised, but as I understand the difference between that position and this more general 'head of narrative', this position is above that.

I can’t wait to read another piece of ADB’s work.

However, having managed to get all the other SoT novels in LE format (whilst avoiding giving scalpers a single penny), I had hoped I wouldn’t need to jump through those hoops again. Have they mentioned that this is the final book?

I haven't even been able to get my hands on parts 2 and 3 of End and the Death yet, bloody hell.

Someone who gets to this before I do, let me know if any Perpetuals show up, I'll need to emotionally prepare myself if they do.

"While the climactic battle may be over, the story has not finished, and the next Siege of Terra book from Black Library is Era of Ruin"

I do like the artwork, but it is quite the surprise that warhound titans come knight sized. Ridiculous that anything could call itself a "titan" at *quick google* 17 METERS?!? how? who thought that sounded impressive? Did they just take the miniature proportions of a titan and compared it to a guardsman figure while forgetting that their vehicles were at a different scale?

What is this, a warhound for ants?

Interesting, wonder if he was behind recent Custodes developments.

This one is up for preorder June 7th.

And FINALLY, they're giving the limited edition a seperate release window on Tuesday 10th. Let's see if the site implodes again...

Having sold my collection I'm glad to not have to stress over this. The continuous fighting both scalpers and GWs just abysmal site (Still! After a year!!), coupled with the fact that the series just bloated out of proportion stole all fun for me.

Good luck to those that are still in the fight.

I hoped that they would do something akin to making only purchasable at Warhammer World for UK orders - and maybe that will still end up being the case.

Tuesday 10th will be a bloodbath. Technically the stores will skip the queueing system from their dedicated terminals, but their doors don’t open until 10am anyway…

I managed to fluke my way into getting one last time around, and I think my only hope will be a repeat of what happened with the last one; a bunch of scalper orders get cancelled, and they’re physically sold at WHW. It’s a real shame, because I thought I had completed the collection (and without giving a single penny to a scalper), and I find myself back here again.

I flogged my LE collection (bar Sons of the Selenar and Fury of Magnus which I just found randomly sat in a draw?) after missing Echoes of Eternity and Garro: Knight of Grey. I thought the resale market was insane at the time, but a quick glance at eBay has just had me do a double-take. Insane what people will pay for them now.

Absolutely, I sold a complete collection recently and went under regular market value and still thought it was insane pricing. I just wanted 8 fancy books on my shelf, not 13-14-however many they decide to add of priceless things I'd be afraid to touch.
