INKS
there was mention of an app, no idea what it includes
irlLordy
GW haven't mentioned anything specifically about the app. Glass Half Dead did a stream earlier and touched upon it, apparently it will only have the light core rules, not the full ones, but it will be free, not require a W+ sub and show all the team rules. Balance updates will be applied to the app, and to the downloads on warcom. He hasn't actually seen the app though, thia was from a presentation that GW gave to influencers before release. Theres no roster anymore, so not sure if there will be a team builder per se, or just show all the operative detail (GHD didn't mention). Indy Techwisp
So with the Killteam boxes being redone for the new edition, does that mean that you can't get the Phobos Marine Upgrade sprue anymore? Or has that already been rolled into the default Infiltrators/Incursors box like the Pathfinders upgrade sprue has?
irlLordy
They have said there will be 2 more waves of kill team reboxes, the phobos marine kill team will likely be in one of those. INKS 1 Back to top

I know they're gonna do that, but IIRC the Pathfinders kit you can buy currently in the actual T'au boxing theme includes the upgrades by default. And the Legionnaires one as well iirc. And the Legionnaires one as well iirc. You can buy Pathfinders sans Kill Team upgrades (they're currently the only thing under that name available on the store). Likewise, the basic Legionaries are still purchasable, under the name "Chaos Space Marines." No basic kit that has been retroactively equipped with a kill team sprue has been made unavailable in favour of exclusively selling the upgraded variant. Blindhamster
wow so the scouts saw a £10 price hike to add a couple of sheets of cardboard to the box? That is legitimately mental. ZeroWolf and skylerboodie 2 Back to top
lansalt
All the KT21 downloads have dissapeared from GW's site. No Balance dataslate, FAQs, or Intercession rules :/

Yeah makes me glad I got my Kasrkin early and found some leftover scouts from the release box at half price. GW is nuts for these prices. Xanthous
From today's preview article. "Here at Warhammer Community, we’ve got more from the new edition of Kill Team, with a big reveal on Monday and new rules going up for download later in the week." Indy Techwisp
It could also be the Digital Rules for some of the Killteams
INKS
Could be a starter set. Could be next two teams
TheMawr
It could also be the Digital Rules for some of the Killteams That is in addition to the big reveal on monday, they say the rules come later in the week. The big reveal on monday is very likely miniature related. Likely one team on monday and the other at the preview event. ( or just one model and full unveiling at the preview event.) or if they are serious about the preview event being fully chaos themed.. they unveil the full next box IF its the rumored halflings vs tankbustas ( its such a weird matchup.) and the preview event shows/teases us the chaos opponents to the rumored grey knights. Not very likely but who knows. This might seem far fetched, but I think the next box could follow up on Hivestorm fairly quickly, it happened before ( in all 3 warband games ) while it rarely goes to plan, the planning for those seem always very seasonal, and Hivestorm is at the tail end. If I remember correctly, didn't kill team Chalnath seem to follow up Octarius quite quickly? Fun but probably impossible guess: big gun terrain. What it'll probably be: A tease of a new ogryn with text stating full reveal on Saturday. Also it's likely that the only chaos reveals will be AoS related (with a new Skaven Underworlds team) so set expectations low.

Indy Techwisp
What it'll probably be: A tease of a new ogryn with text stating full reveal on Saturday. Personally, I was expecting the Monday Miniature Reveal to be the Warhammer Day Chaos Sorc, but re-reading the article it does seem to be a Killteam Reveal, huh. On a side note, what are the chances that the Stream contents get leaked a few days beforehand again? That's happened a couple times recently iirc, so I'd expect GW to be keeping an eye out. DeadFingers
Since the article says "big reveal" (emphasis mine) my bet is they're being cheeky and it's either an ogryn or a ratling. ThePenitentOne
So I've almost finished downloading everything there is to download. Once it's done, I'll be copying and pasting the spec ops content from a certain website for all the teams whose Spec Ops content I don't already own. I have to snag it before it disappears. For each new team that is released in KT 2024, I guess I'll have to make it up. Any suggestions for Battle Honours (6), Rare Equipment (5), Requisitions (4) and Strategic Assets (3) for Vespids and Aquillons?
