Just had a phone call with Hachette, and basically 1000's of Aus Subs 2nd Delivery is delayed, and waiting on a restock. My 2nd payment was almost 4 weeks ago, and my 3rd payment is due this week

Kindly unhide the second post and I will edit out the relevant parts, it's still useful to have an available post there at the top of the thread.

Edit - Post now amended, tyvm

there's the letter of the law and the spirit of the law, and crushing the spirit for the sake of the letter helps no one.

Yes, the Rat Ogres are perfect for conversion to Drukhari Grotesques. Unfortunately, I am running low on Talos parts. What’s that, I should buy another pain engine for the parts? Hmm…you’ve convinced me…

Quick question for anyone that has got or seen the Lord Invocatus/ Juggerlord issues. Which sprue came in which issue? Hoping to grab the just the one with the juggernaut body in it.

EDIT - Found it. It's issue 81

Means that 2 copies of #81 and 1 #82 (£30 total) gives you everything for both the Juggerlord and Invocatus. Not a bad deal.

With the end of Combat Patrol in sight, I'd like to share my converted Terminator Captain for my own Great Company the Helhammers. It took a good deal of work to remove non-wolfish details and stick on my own bitz n pieces (around a solid week of daily effort, including painting). I'm really happy with the result.

Happy to say I got my second and third deliveries today

Nice. I finally got half my second delivery (issues 3 and 4.) after payment being taken about six weeks ago and my third payment coming out about a fortnight ago. Hopefully I get the rest owed soon. Have been debating calling them but I see you have Grot. Hopefully they get things sorted soon.

EDIT: Just realised the binder I received in the delivery is part of my third order… so I guess I got part of my third delivery too… just not the actual magazine part…

Thats odd. I'm assuming the reciept they sent is accurate?

  • 4 weeks later...

FP Shaftsbury had 89 and 90 in stock yesterday for those that want to know. 89 was randomly around with the new arrivals and 90 was in the usual spot with the other Hachette stuff.

Picked a couple of each up with plans to magentise them to switch between mauler/forge fiend but now I'm wondering, do I want more.....? Having 4 in total would let me run 2 of each or 3 and 1... do I need 5 to make that 3 and 2.....?

it is a slippery slope and I think the ones I have are probably enough to fit in any army I build.

I really hope that includes not just subs being sent out, but also individual issues to newsagents. My local ones have been feast or famine after issue 5

As of yesterday FP Shaftbury avenue has both Maulerfiend issues still in stock if anyone is looking (not on their website though)
from memory, lots of Bezerkers still too. Some Jakhals and Juggernaught issues, some GSC and Votann ones  and a couple of IG sentinels

I’d like another issue 89 for a pair of them but it’s out of stock everywhere online. Might have to look in Cambridge next time I’m there…

You guys are so lucky having these at newsstands... We had 3 months worth of Imperium mags at Barnes & Noble back then but nothing further...

Welp, with the collection finished guess it's time to place the order for Snikrot. Was waiting to see if they were going to offer another character.

Yeah, the US site only has Haarkon and Tigurius and they've been sold out for months...

Had to check. Yeah Snikrot isn't an option. Luckily I got haarkon already. Though these showed up later for the US side then they did on the UK side. So he might still show up? If not it's fine.

I guess they're all in on Spearhead for now, but I hope they come back to this in the future. Hachette must have been happy with how well it did so I guess it comes down to if GW wants to do it again.

There is a good chance they will, there is about a year rest between runs. If Hachette does this again we'll see news in the spring of next year. At  least for the UK version.
