Space Hulk :: Projekt Log

After I had to admit to myself, that 40k is rule-wise and release-wise just not my game, after I really didn't like what Games Workshop has done to the design of the Skaven, and after I don't want to buy anything for Kill Team yet again, I grabbed Space Hulk which has been lying at the bottom of  in a pile of Boxes since early 2016 and started to build the Minis. I did own the 1st Edition once, even with the Extension, but sold everything together with Space Crusade and HeroQuest when moving out of my parents house in the mid90ies. I enjoyed playing several of the Vidya-Adaption in the past, and I do love Terminators, probably more than any other single Miniature … so let's see where this leads me.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Looking forward to paint some of Sanguinius' Sons. Had a soft spot for them eversince.

I look forward to seeing your progress. It just so happens that I was looking at my Space Hulk collection yesterday, wondering if I was ever going to get around to painting at least one of the sets. My money is on you finishing way before me.

 

Can we look forward to battle reports, too?

I'll keep you updated on the painting progress. Although it also might take a while. I have a fairly quick concept for the tyranids, but I haven't painted Blood Angels before, or to be honest, I tried, but as it turned out: I don't like painting red. Don't ask me about that either. I have no clue, why. So it might take some time for me to come up with a colour scheme for the Blood Angels, that I really like, hehe.

 

But yeah, I'll be playing the game next week (with unpainted minis though), and will make sure to write a battle report here. Really looking forward to it.

I'd love a new space hulk game to come out, a refresh. I am always tempted to get this set here and see what I can do with it.
