Blood Angels army list Blood Angel Army List 2000pts staring a new updated army

Before i spend the time putting these guys together and then painting i want you to review the list and tell me what I'm doing wrong.

 

I have some of these guys finished and ready but i have a lot more to do.

 

I have 15 Assault Intercessors/jp done, Dante, one Captain/jp one Chaplain/jp and Lemartes al finished.

I am going to start on the Death Company next as i have those.

 

This is my List as I'm thinking.

 

Liberator Assault Group

 

Dante

6 Sanguiary Guard

 

Lemartes

10 Death Company with 2 Eviscerators and 3 Power Fists

 

Captain/jp Plasma Pistol and Power Fist

3 Sanguiary Guard

 

Chaplain/jp Plasma Pistol and Power Fist

 5 Assault Intercessors/jp one with Plasma Pistol and Power Fist

 

5 Assault Intercessors/jp one with Plasma Pistol and Power Fist

 

5 Assault Intercessors/jp one with Plasma Pistol and Power Fist

 

Judiciar  with  Absolvar bolt pistol and Executioner relic blade

3 Bladeguard Veteran Squad with one Plasma Pistol

all riding in a Impulsor with Missle Array

 

5 Scouts Sgt with Chain Sword/ Combat Knifes and one with a Missile Launcher

 

5 Scouts Sgt with Chain Sword/ Combat Knifes and one with a Missile Launcher

 

Predator Destructor with 2 Lascannons, Hunter Killer Missile

 

Predator Destructor with 2 Lascannons, Hunter Killer Missile

 

 Captain gets Speed of the Primarch

Judiciar gets Rage Fuelled Warrior

Chaplain leading the one Assault Intercessors Icon of the Angel  as i had 20 points left

 

 

Really like a its bad or any suggestion to help.

Only one model can have Speed of the Primarch as enhancements are unique (one per army). Perhaps it's worth putting it on the Chaplain that is leading the Bladeguard instead?

Yeah I'd rather have that on the bladeguard, and probably not do the chaplain and grab a judiciar. 

 

Then you can keep speed on who you want to.

Honestly it looks reasonably solid, other than the required changes posted above. 
 

do you already have the predator kits? If not I'd be Leery of getting them if it's gonna be a while before you get around to painting them. It seems likely to a lot of people that they won't make the transition to 11th edition.

agree with this.   I would like to add some vindicators or predators to my army too, but leery about them going the way of the librarian dread. 

 

A good replacement for the same points values would be two ballistus dreads

I already have the Predator Destructors from before and the are already painted.

 

The Ballistus Dreads look good but at 360 for 2 verse 260 for the Perdators i dont have the points.

 

After i get this army painted I'm going to get a couple and work on them for later but they do look good.

2 Ballisustus dreads come out to 260.  They are the same 130 points each that the predators are.    That said, if you already have the predators, you won't regret those either.

Yea, not sure what i was looking at but your right going to get 2 of them now.
